Over 30 years of tying strips of the loudest most garish fabric to my luggage. Saves tons of time identifying my pieces when so many plain black suitcases are out there. Remember a time exiting an airport shuttle. Three identical carry-ons side by side. Grabbed mine with the cloth strip while the other two people had to stop and open them in order to identify theirs.😊

Oh yes you can have stuff hanging off!!! I put things to make mine easy to recognize like bright pink yarn and or blue ! Or bows of some sort I try to change it up!!!

I have tied on bandanna. I love the Bahama’s! I have been a lot of places/islands, on 5 cruises. We have decided to travel this country. Last year we went to Arkansas a few places, Mount Rushmore, Badlands, Black Hills in South Dakota. We also went to Utah, Arches Nation Park. And we are remodeling the entire house. Fills like we go 100 miles a hour.

My daughter and son in law travel quite often. They'll be traveling to North Carolina in June for the birth of TWO babies! My son in law's two daughters are due for babies June 1st and June 14th. First babies for both. I'm going to make these and restyle one for a man. I've been sewing since I was 7 years old. I'm 76 now. I have tubs and tubs of fabric. 😊💕

When I flew to Japan in 2009 for the birth of my younest daughters baby I bought a black peice of luggage and painted a large Dragonfly on it so I would know which bag was mine at luggage pick up. Never lost it once and got lots of compliments on it as well.

I've often thought of doing something like this, but always assumed paint would rub off the vinyl side of the luggage. What did you use? I'd love to know.

@@liddybird3608 The bag was canvase sided. Perhaps you could use a large sticker on vinyl instead. Or stensils and spary paint.

We enjoyed Mexican Riviera ( there is at least 5 different ones/ different ports) and Alaska my favorite! Canada Hawaii but we flew there my friend cruised! She has gone to Virgin Islands they to have several different ones!
