It’s funny how many people including myself have been put into this role … and to be honest you kinda have to learn on you’re own The key is to be clear and be ahead of everyone for the cues Give heaps of cues so everybody is on the same page But not too much to put the worship leader off Having a great mix in you’re ears is vital I wish I was on the stage with this guy back in the day so I could of learned from him Thank you for sharing this video I got heaps from it

@@vertusmatjaz There's usually two MD's on stage and it's one of their electric guitarist so it would only make sense. Or another guess would be one of their audio guys behind the board.

Yes, LJ certainly made a mistake at 5:35, but watch how fast he recovers. I've been playing live music for the better part of 40 years, and I can tell you that there isn't a musician alive that hasn't made mistakes while playing. It's not whether you will make a mistake or not, it's when, and the key is to recover quickly - and LJ did exactly that. That's the sign of a real pro. Well done, LJ.

For sure. Rumble here just means “build.” Not a big, huge, epic build, but rather subtly adding sonic excitement. Feathering the kick drum and swelling on cymbals, bass fades in, ambient and spacey swells in guitars gradually grow, and keys grow in volume on the chord as well. It’s very beautiful how it all comes together!
