As an imposter if you dont want to be caught, ALWAYS FAKE TASKS and especially the Common ones that appear at top tasks (depends on which map and how many common tasks there are) so always fake it becuase everyone has those (example: Swipe Card, Keys, Wires)

You can't always fake tasks because when the crewmates do their tasks, the task bar increases but the impostor cannot do tasks, therefore the task bar will not increase

@@dygoras2583 Its better to fake the existing Common Task like Keys or Card Swipe (make sure if they are actually the common task for the game becuase if one has it, everyone has that and if no one has dont fake it) and its safer to fake multiple part tasks. Also its better for you to time it so you leave your task after bar moves up

its actually better to fake tasks that dont make the bar go up immediately, i.e wires, allign engine output, downlod upload etc. because its easier to fake these without being suspicious because you dont need to wait for the bar to go up aka wasting time

I suggest fake the Start Reactor(takes about 12 sec), download(takes about 8 or 9 sec per download or upload) , wires(takes about 4 sec per box thing), fuel engine thing(takes about 5 sec to fill up and 5 sec to fuel the engine so 20 sec), inspect sample or pick anomaly thing on mira hq(takes A SHIT TON OF SEC)

Tips to being a good impostor: 1.I ever failled being an impostor so you can easily kill someone in security but keep an eyes on the door when it closed someone could watch you from outside and know you were in there 2.don't vote your own team when they got accused because it will make the impostor fail,so if someone accused your team just say "uhhh who we voting again?" And just say "omg im sorry (whatever color accus your team) i vote for you on a accident!" And if ppl don't believe the person that accus your team it will be more easier 3.make sure no one watch you. This is happpened to me so i was walking with blue and green saw me walking with blue and i kill him and green knows its me,so make sure no one watch you where you going with someone and if even someone see you just say "we split up in (whatever room you wanna say) and idk where is he/she" and i thing ppl will believe that 4.don't kill someone when you sabotage lights. Because every crewmate would just go to electrical and know who not in there it happened to me too,the others is at the cam and i locked them in there(the wrong way i ever had) and i killed pink(the only crew outside the sec) bc i tough there someone else outside the cam :'v Hope it help :D

Never do these mistakes as imposter: You can’t see people on cams in the security vent, so if you vent there someone may be on cams. As they are beside the Chair. Also, make sure nobody on cams sees you go into a certain room with someone, and they end up dead, They will suspect you. Don’t fake doing the admin uploading task, do the downloading task in Lunch, then go to Admin if someone is white you. If you are faking a task with people around move away from the task when the bar goes up by someone else somewhere else doing a task. Don’t do the Astroid game, Med scan, prime shields (the one that turns the head lights on), and the bottom area beside the vents and lights, Those are Visual tasks, and don’t do the Air thing when dumping the leaves. And lastly, it’s best to check admin right after you kill someone so you can see who is where and make a lie on where you were. My dad told me this! It’s good information I think! ☺️☺️💕💕✨✨ Also check the settings, that can help you a lot- Edit: Learn what noob means before you even play the game also, Noob; a new player, not someone who is bad at the game, or called you out.

*Tips for good impostor* -Kill creemate when he is alone or kill someone in group. It will make u even more sus. -Dont make blame the other imposter if u get caught instead try to convince them, here's good lying is the key -Upper engine, lower engine, Shield and comma area is the place where are least task so if u kill anyonee go to that area or lock the doors so you'll be safe when discussing *Tips for good crewmate* -Prefer skipping the vote instead voting for dumbest reason like calling emergency or someone the other crew think is impo, mostly impostor diverts the crew attention by making other crew sus. last time i was imposter, it was in a lobby were crewmates had 5x vision and imposters had 0.25x vision. so now i've been thinking that i only get imposter when the settings aren't in my favor. (btw, i won that match that by turning out the lights so the crewmate vision and imposter vision was equal. and by locking myself in the cafeteria by myself twice. so when an emergency meeting was called and it was down to me and two others, i told them i got locked in the cafeteria twice and that was enough to convince them that i wasn't it.)

You just need to stay in a game lomg enough. If you quit right after the first round you played in the first game and go to another game, you'll have a very low chance of being impostor. Why? You need to play as crewmate 2, 3 or 4 times in the same game until you're chosen to be impostor

Another tip: if your an imposter trying to fake a task, never go to the upload task in admin first this is because you must do download before upload, so suspicion would fall right on you. This goes for every other upload task, you must do download first before you go onto admin to do your upload.

Instead, look at the situation and decide if you'll help to minimize suspicion on you or take advantage of the situation but its quite risky, seeing as you weren't there or arrived late which could give suspicion on you.

Pro tip if you are the imposter and you are in a final 3: prevent someone from calling a meeting, by using sabatoge. Because if something is sabotaged, then you cannot use the button since it will just say, meetings cannot be called during crisis. Giving you more time for your kill cooldown to go down and it gives you more time to find someone to kill, to win the game

Idk if this is useful but if there are a few people left (like 5 or 4 including the impostor), if someone always encourage everyone to skip, with proof or without proof, there could be a possibility that they're the impostor because they encourage everyone to skip so they can get an opportunity to kill someone. Like every time a body gets reported they are always the one to say skip Now before you comment, this isn't 100% true because some people encourage everyone to skip because they need more proof but that can SUGGEST that maybe something is going on. Don't call that person out for encouraging everyone to skip, just try to keep an eye out for them Also another tip, if someone accuses someone else, kill the person who accused the other person so that it makes the person who is accused really sus. For example Cyan accuses red. Try your best not to make everyone vote for red because they will be useful later on. Then go kill cyan. The body gets reported and now they're sus of red. Try to like defend red. And red will defend themselves and everyone skips. Go get an alibi that can defend you when there's only a few people left. Let's say that your alibi is blue. Get more alibis as you can 2 is probably enough but it kinda depends. Now when there's like 4 people left (1 impostor which is you, 2 alibis and 1 accused person) go press the emergency meeting and try to ask red questions. That will make them sus and because you never killed your alibis, they'll vote for red. You should probably know the right people to kill as an impostor lol.

10 IMPORTANT Tips for Being an Impostor: 1. Check the area if it is clear and has a vent. 2. Don't kill the person being sus. 3. Don't kill accusers. 4. Don't ever fake swiping cards. 5. Always kill if the lights are off (make sure there are no people around you). 6. Pretend downloading data, that's the safest faking tasks. 7. If you report a body, don't say where is the body since the people will think someone saw it. 8. Don't always go with people because they will think you will kill someone. 9. Don't let people know your location especially if you're with a crewmate. 10. Freely kill a person if the number of people are 3 left (including you, so 2 crewmates). You just have to kill one.

Also in the second mistake black was obviously the other impostor, when everyone was accusing green they also said it was green but then they said they were with green to protect the other impostor. If black was with green then why did they accuse green earlier?

A few tips: Dont kill someone after 10 seconds Try to walk around the map If you see someone wait a bit longer Try to vent after you killed someone Dont kill people in admin medbay navigation security or reactor (cams) You can kill someone in reactor or security if nobody watches the cams Dont try to walk away from the body Instead vent Dont kill someone in communications Turn the lights off Sabotage the reactor (there are 2 people required)

Pay attention to the little stops and turns people make if their waiting for someone to be alone if they go back but then notice there's more than one person if their roaming around or getting really close to you then their probably impostor.

One mistake common impostors do: Self-Report wayy to early in the game. People will be sus of you because the game just started and a body was already reported

Tip : if you kill someone in eletrical, close the doors first, then stay in the vent until someone reports the body. Once I saw the blood animation from medbay and I saw orange coming out of security , after venting.
