I've found the rod that works best for me is the Ark rods Cobb series 7'1 hvy. It's designed for a buzz bait so it has a bit of a softer tip. I get ease of use with the added backbone

Hey man love your videos. Would you mind doing a video on the frog itself? Do you bend the hooks? I throw a spro because I love the action and it gets bites. However my hookup ratio is terrible. 😅

That rod is only rated for 25# line. Any worries about rod damage?

The Mach series only rate the rods for monofilament not braid. Its more than enough rod for the frog. Ive caught a ton on it with 50lb braid

Awesome tips! I’m going to put a lot more time into the frog this year. I also noticed that you fish it pretty fast in some videos, I started doing the same last year and got a lot more action than slow walking it.
