Brooke spoke with a lot of conviction in this episode and I loved that. Also, Connor being uncomfortable in The Kissing Booth convo not for the sake of Devil's Advocate, but by a BM brewing absolutely killed me.

To add onto Brooks point about celebrities hating on their old work, it’s upsetting because it’s almost always men dragging the “girly”movies they’ve done. Like, I think their shame is rooted in sexism. Anything deemed “for women” is automatically shamed and seen as frivolous. And Connor not having anything to add is from a place of privilege. He’s literally never had to think about it. Anyway, I appreciate Brook for bringing it up and hope to hear more convos bringing awareness to this

Brooke, I am not here to be the 8492nd person (infact, Im pretty early - patting myself on the back) to tell you about 'And I will Always Love You' - she wrote it like 30 years earlier than te Body Gaurd. Elvis tried to buy the rights from her, it was a whole thing. Love the P, love your work - just thought this could be good information for an unknown upcoming trivia event

I don’t think it is connors fault for not having anything to say about the ya rant. But I totally agree with Brooke on both of her points that he should craft how he expresses his feelings about his earlier work partially from a place of respect and gratitude and that hating on the genre as a whole is also hating on the individual that cosume, enjoy, and connect with the content.

Seed oils are 👎🏼. Brooke is 100% correct, the extraction process makes the oil extremely toxic and inflammatory. Think about how easy it would be to get oil from a coconut or an avocado, those are safe to eat because it’s a naturally oily food and can be cold pressed to extract healthy oils from. You need heavy machinery and toxic chemicals to extract oil from tiny seeds that aren’t meant to produce oil for us to consume. They also put these seed oils in plastic and they go rancid immediately. It’s cheap to produce, that’s why it’s in everything 🤷♀️
