There were some comments in the live chat on Mikey's effect pedals. yes he had some effects but mainly he just left them on. his main weapons were: Soldano surf box, Boss DD-3, and (2) Ernie Ball Volume pedals, one which was used not as a volume pedal, and not as a pedal at all, but somehow for some other purpose. There were other pieces to his puzzle but they were more technical like splitters or effects loop etc. of course his amp was the Soldano SLO-100 and his guitars were (3) Fender Deluxe Telecaster Plus Firestorm Red with rosewood fretboard. he was the best ever. I heard you tell a thousand stories...every one in a different voice

He quit using the Surf box around the time Sam came on board. It couldn't handle touring conditions. Kendrick, then Demeter and maybe he used the "Space box" for bit but didn't like it. 2nd EB volume was behind the head in the effects loop. 1st Fender Telecaster Plus Deluxe was an actual Firestorm, the next 2 were more of a Crimson burst, the guy that did the Firestorm finish left by that time and they didn't know how to do it at Fender. His strings were Daddario XL 9's. Don't believe the rig diagram you can find, it's incorrect.
