Power is still the currency of the world order. No one ever devours to seem lusting for power, nor do we wish to be powerless. Wether you distrust the powerful or admire them, we all know that to have any respect, agency, and freedom you too will need influence, wealth, resources, and power. Robert Moores book on the 48 Laws of Power offers insightful demonstrations of the different dimensions of attaining and welding power. The book often gets a bad reputation by those that hate power players that use their positions of power to their own benefit or against the benefit of others.
