As the blizzard ceases and such a long day is replaced by a quiet night, allowing the lights from a silvery moon to illuminate the treetops of the dense forest, Alfred, the timid assistant of Professor Abronsius, performed a brave deed, having reached together with Professor to a humble inn of a man named Chagall, father of a beautiful girl Sarah, in which Alfred falls in love at first sight.
In their rooms, lying in beds, Alfred and Sarah aren't asleep, they are dreaming about each other while strange things happen within the inn...

Let me present to you the second addition to the Dance of the Batponies animatic series!
This one is probably the longest video we’ve ever worked on, and it certainly took the biggest amount of time to finish comparing to our previous videos (8 months and 29 days). Working on it was pretty tedious at times, but still, we had plenty of fun creating this gigantic piece of “breaking all stereotypes of love songs” animatic.

As often as we see the mares playing dudes in fan animatics, I think this is the first time I've seen anyone actually using the fanmade gender swaps instead of slightly more masculine looking versions of the same character. At least, I assume that was supposed to be Butterscotch. Had the same mane style.

Прикинула следующие песни... 3 - "Прибытие в замок фон Кролока" (первое, что мне приходит на ум) 4 - "Кромешная Тьма" (боже, я обожаю эту песню) 5 - "Как нежная скрипка" (а как же иначе?! Уже хочу услышать, как Герберт спросит с улыбкой "Набегался"?) 6 - не помню, как называется песня, но ее поют все вампиры на балу, + реприза Кромешной Тьмы, когда фон Кролок кусает Сару. 7 - эээ... на ваше усмотрение! Но, наверное реприза "За горизонтом" вроде так песня называется, где в конце Альфред и Сара сбегают... А что, по-моему неплохо)

I've watched all your Tanz der Vampire MLP videos and these are so good. :D I also really like that you're translated the Russian version, I have seen bootlegs and own the CD of the Russian version, nice to know the meaning of the lyrics. I'm also really surprised how good the translation is, some of the lyrics are almost directly from the German version and those that aren't still sound good. Keep up the good work.

FireSath I’m deeply sorry to bother you, but I thought I found this version of the Russian version used in the animatics, I managed to find it once on ITunes but it’s unavailable in my country T^T I can’t access any Russian link I look up because it thinks it’s dangerous or something and all the searches are strictly to English.. could you perhaps link a version that’s not on ITunes that someone (regardless of where you live) can order..? TvT I’m so sorry for wasting your time but it really bothers me that I can’t access it on my own OnO I’m willing to convert it onto my laptop via a CD, but finding the exact site to order from is the kicker. D : because no matter how many times I hear it the animatics play in my head and the only one available to me doesn’t have any of the Professor’s, Pinkie Pie’s father or mother, or Granny Smiths lines D :

Прорисовка фона заметно улучшилось, однако, персонажи с ним не очень сочитаются. Думаю дело в том, что у персонажа идет четкая грань, контур. Когда в фоне этого нет. Ну а сам аниматик хорош, спасибо за прекрасные 5 минут.)

I really like Grand Pear's "wife"'s design. You did a fantastic job of making her feel like the old angry women who's always up everyone's throats, but has also been through a lot of shit like her husband's not so subtle cheating on her. And the facial expressions you gave her were absolutely amazing. That combined with her gown almost made her look ghostly in scenes like 2:58. Btw which character is she based on? Is she just an OC or is she based on someone from the show?

I'm glad you like her character! It's not Grand Pear tho, but actually Igneous Rock, aka Pinkie Pie's actual biological father. As for his wife, she's based on Cloudy Quartz, aka Pinkie Pie's bioligical mother.
