Love that huge kitchen. The living room space is very nice. Love the colors. The bedroom and bathroom are decent size for a small fifth wheel. This is definitely not half towable. Thanks for the video.

I think it's to keep your pillow from knocking over a drink or whatever. My wife will have 10 pillows across the head of that bed.

I really like this unit, love the massive pass-through storage you get. The outdoor kitchen, it has a nice sized fridge (the most important part for me) and a spot to cook some dogs. The inside kitchen is a great size for the chef, love that. Awesome layout for the size, the only thing, for me, is having 3 kids, is it's just slightly too small.

Thermafoil for 95 thousand, nope! Solid surface yes. Whats up with all the thermafoil lately? Not worth it, it defaces and peels with any kind of heat. I know i worked in the cabinet industry for 10 years.

Hey JD,I hope you're having a great day! I really like this Durango256 fifth wheel. I was wondering what that round grate that was on the counter by the stove was? I love what they done at the dinette table behind the bench seat, that is awesome. The entertainment area is massive with the large TV an the electric fireplace below the TV,plus all the storage that you get around the entertainment center! The bathroom is nice an spacious with great storage. They done a great job in the master bedroom too, plus giving you a closet slide an a place for a combo washer and dryer! Thank you JD for showing us this unit and giving us all the information on it. Your number one fan an friend Leonard from North Carolina!!!!!

Floor vents are a hard no. Especially when the one in the bedroom also dumps into the basement.

A lot of storage with not a lot of cargo carrying capacity which kind of negates the amount of storage space. They could use a European light plywood for the cabinets which would have saved considerable weight for the amount of cabinets there are. The washer/drier is probably out of the question considering the CCC. They could have used a smaller 12 volt refrigerator to save weight for other cargo. Great floor plan. It’s an attractive package but the buyer should beware that their not going to be able to load a lot of stuff into the trailer. They’ll also have to make sure they travel with empty tanks. Full tanks will undoubtedly use all of the CCC! It’s pretty but they didn’t really consider how people will likely use this trailer. That one number limits its usefulness! Azdel?

we use the hitch to attach a carrier, not to tow. Lots of accessories to fit in hitch, bike racks, tailgating accessories etc…

To me this is f350 / 3500 crewcab towable non dually with proper tires will be fine. But here in California most non dually f350 are lifted and I don't think it be a good match if lifted as it will increase the leverage the trailer has over the truck in wind

When they say "half ton" that means the model. Like you have Grand design "Solitude" Doesn't mean it's half ton towable.

Beautiful rig. I don’t understand how the OEM’s come up with their model numbers, though. This trailer is much longer than the model number would lead you to believe with an actual length of 33.5 feet. And calling many of these rigs “half ton towable” is simply irresponsible. I wish there were tighter industry regulations that require safer towing practices. But there is a lot to like in this 5er with clever use of space and nice cosmetic appointments. At under 35’ it’s actually a lot of trailer. Durango is doing some nice stuff.

Can't afford the price. Like the layout as well as the amount of storage. I'm not a fan of the night stands being blocked with that decorative piece either. Love the fact that they have night stands and that it's a queen bed so there is more room on each side of the bed.

This is a nice trailer but looking at the specs, it is odd that it only holds 55 gallons of fresh water but 90 gallons of gray water storage. Still, it is nice layout.

So much storage, so little capacity to utilize it. You fill the water tank and you have about 800lbs left. With those massive storage compartments up front, it will be a pin heavy unit for sure, no where near good for a half ton

We are happy with our k-z so far had a few problems with it but k-z got it taken care of, my only problem with it is the cabinets over the bed I've cracked my head on them sitting up a few times

I could honestly do without the slide on the camp side. It really doesn't add that much floor space on the inside. Unless they're actually going to give you a sink and make it a full outdoor kitchen, i can simply just carry a griddle in the other storage compartment and set up on a table. It also protrudes way too much into the camp space under the awning that may be needed for people to sit if it's raining. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent layout. Definitely shouldn't be labeled "Half Ton".

Be nice if they would make it easy to change a queen matterss to a king. Also install the hitch with the air bag. It has to help in the shock loading transfering to the rv frame. # stop frame flex

What real night stands, but then a divider, a easy bake oven.. again.. hello it rains in my part of the world a LOT. Do RV companies ever sleep for a week in the products the designed for the rest of us??? Ugh carpet on the slides for 90K or even 70K discounted? So tired of the economy of deep diving instant hobby families who only plan to keep it for a year then bail. What the heck, put a lot of white furniture so we can hear the camp McFamily next door constantly yell the kids to not mess it up.
