I know most people think of long-time relationships and weddings when they hear this song, but I think of unrequited love and first loves that didn't last, or a combination of the both. 'I’ll never stop trying, I’ll never stop watching as you leave, I’ll never stop losing my breath, every time I see you looking back at me' sort of alludes to the fact that you'll never truly get over that person, who might've been a first love. It also could just mean that you're in a relationship with someone for a long time and still feel an incredible amount of love for them. I see it either way, though it fits more as a wedding song.
