Never Struggle with the Solar Pillar again!

Today I demonstrate how you can cheese the solar pillar. This short is mainly geared toward people that have to redo pillars a bunch while grinding for a Moon Lord drop or those that just want to get the event over with.

Some things to note:
Make sure you build the structure in the sky above the pillar, that way you can avoid enemies getting stuck underground or spawning behind you. Also, be careful about flying too high up while fighting the core because you'll aggro the crawltipede.
This same principle can also be applied to other events as well, so feel free to experiment with it.

For the vortex pillar, you can just go inside a 2x3 box and use any minion or the stormbow to deal damage, and nothing can hit you.

the nebula pillar is harder in my opinion, since solar enemies can't go through blocks so you can just kill all of them with the stardust dragon, since the stardust pillar is the easiest to cheese

I just use Vampire Knives and purposely let Crawltipedes spawn. They have negative defense so you can simply hit them and heal massive amounts of health. Because of this, the Solar Pillar is actually the easiest one for me.

For stardust, stay airborne and break star cells, before letting them regrow, and repeat. For the other two, try to stay on the move. For vortex specifically, KILL THE LARVAE.

Vortex is easy to cheese, though. Just build a box on the edge of the Vortex Pillar's spawn zone, then get an Alien Hornet to chase you. Seal yourself in the box and wait until the Hornet evolves into a Queen, then kill it with something that can pierce walls or fits through 1-block holes (Hornets can't fit through those.). The Queen will leave behind 3 Alien Larvae. Let them evolve into Hornets, and then into more Queens, and just repeat the process as needed until the barrier goes down.

I just dug down a few blocks right underneath the pillar and started swinging my influx waver directly up, it's cheesy, campy, and not fun but it works really well; never died once using the strategy, and I think it also kinda works on the Nebula pillar as well

Personally when im grinding for more moonlord drops, i get into a cave (solar pillar spawned near a cave on one of my worlds, just dig a hole ig idk) and lunar flare the enemies

The solar pillar is the easiest. Just use something like a terra blade and now nothing can even touch you, there are mutch harder pillars, like the nebula pillar, that one is a nightmare, or the vortex one, thats kinda the same thing, and the stardust one is just annoying with all those worms chasing after you and then when you die there's always that big clump of cells and one of those flying squids just clumped up where you died, every time, its insane. I love the solar plillar its the only good one and it has no flaws.

or just you know, spawn a rain cloud with nimbus staff right above the pillar and it dies in a min or two without u doing anything. This works with every pillar if it's shields are down

Crawltipedes do not attack you if you stay on the ground, but once you go 8 blocks into the air, then it will go after you. Also, it’s tail is the weak point

On every pillar i always die 😂😭 . Anyway if you dont have op weapon you can buy sentry staff from npc, thats op bruh . Is very help me , using sentry set , and you just need spawn sentry and avoid enemy ( using ufo mount , that what i do) Edit: why nebula i harder for all people in comment ? I think its easy . Solar is harder then vortex , nebula and last onè stardust . Nebula is easy for me using ufo and spawn sntry and use corrupt spear . That not hard tbh

From my experience, I find the Vortex Pillar to be more difficult than Solar. The constant summons of portals are really annoying! Second is the Nebula, from the random beams that hit you like- off-screen. >:(

For Small worlds, it's just purely RNG because one time in my Master Mode run, I got approached by a Crawltipede while I was at the top of the world and it's too scary to die from it

Solar is genuinely easy if you dig a tunnel underground, just make sure there's a thickness of 3 blocks above you so the explosions dont hit and have a weapon that goes through blocks to deal with corrite
