Thanks mate.I was leaving torch cable in the positive terminal all the time an just switching between ac and dc with the switch.

Hi matt do you change the torch to the positive terminal for dc welding.

Electrode Negative (torch cable) for ferrous (steel and stainless) and Electrode Positive for non-ferrous (Al) 👍
