@@Boba1702 anything below 500sqft where I'm from is considered small. even a studio here is at least 700-800sqft to be considered a good size. Considering the size of that kitchen, zero extra space in that bedroom, barely a living room (where's the tv go?, no room for an extra chair) this is still on the small size. Not to mention barely any natural light in living area. And a small bathroom

So happy to see an appartment from my city. The architecture feels much more familiar to me. I know replumbing here is expensive and noisy and it would take a lot of time, so I think they found a good solution. And there's a great ice cream shop right in front of the church.

I'm so happy to see an apartment in the country which I'm living! Thanks! Though every space's design is fascinating, I cannot truly understand how the cultural, economic, and law restrictions influenced the choice of the designer. Love it! but imagine in the living room: no conference table. The storage unit is always open, but the mattress is tucked under (you can use now-shelf as a little table to place a cup of tea etc, otherwise keeping empty) and from the top shelf there is a floating tv that goes down (eye level of the person sitting on the couch, in front of the white board) but when a guest comes in, it can slide back up and the hidden mattresse gets placed as shown on the video. space looks more open and dedicated to use while keeping that extra function of a guest bed.

@NEVER TOO SMALL Could you, please, make an extra episode about small apartments and noise (e. g. how to improve sound absorption, which space-saving measurements help to add some soundproofing)? I also would like to know how people cope with living in crowded locations when there are whole families sharing the same ground-plan size above or beneath and there is no extra space/room to avoid the noise of your neighbors. I see so many quite minimalist examples on here but the echo and sound absorption must be insanely bad in some of them.

That is something they rarely discuss on here! These homes are always beautiful, but if you're stuck inside because of work or quarantine, the noise can be extremely stress inducing. Even if you have the technical privacy of your own space, noise can cause a feeling of intrusion and lack of privacy regardless.
