That's exactly the 2 color combos I am debating between. Does the monogram get dirtier more easily because of the constant touching of untreated leather? Does the damier ebene keep it's shape more than the monogram?

Coffee & Makeup24 I would say yes to both questions ... I would say the monogram looks more used because of the untreated leather and it has softened a lot more ... Such a dilemma when trying to decide which canvas ... Xxx

I think i made up my mind. The Monogram with hot pink it is since it makes me happy and I can use it Spring/Summer/Fall and for Winter I will eventually get the damier ebene one :)

Great comparison.... my bag is the mono and same age.... I'm off the clean mine, my handles are really dirty at the top!!!! but they are buttery soft on the skin. Another great double act xxx

Help me choose. I’ve always wanted the damier but the peeling issue put me off . Now I am thinking of the monogram but that it can’t be taken out in the train puts me off! Which one shall I get it? It will be my main bag for work/baby/weekend etc .

I wouldn’t worry about the peeling, I’ve not had any problems with mine and if you do I’m sure LV will fix it .. As for the rain, this is something we have become quite paranoid over because of all the videos .. The untreated leather will age and look dirty with years of use, Ruth’s bag looks a lot more used then mine but it’s still beautiful.. My advice to you is to go and try them both on if you can and just go with the one you truly love, at the end of the day you can’t really go wrong .. xxx
