The Cut Content of A Farewell to Arms | Enter the Gungeon Unused Content

Stuff that made it into the files of Enter the Gungeon's final update, but never made it into the actual game. Featuring updates to Lamey, a bunch of weird guns, an unused enemy, and a whole unused boss!
Also, I have a few notes on XtG at the very end.

The West Bros Boss is a reference to the three main characters in “The Good The Bad, and The Ugly.” Specifically Angel refers to Angel Eyes (The Bad) Nomo refers to The Man with No Name, or sometimes referred to as blondie (The Good), and Tuc is Tuco, pronounced “two-co” (the ugly). Based on the movie I don’t think the fight between the brothers wouldn’t have been the same as the Bullet Bros, I think it would have been a 4 way duel. Of course take this with a grain of salt

i might i have an idea as to why the "west bros" are there, i think the R and G department was going to have a remixed version of each boss from the first four chambers, ex west bros being a revamped trigger twins, it would be a massive selection and difficult to learn each pattern but then again, the gungeon is ruthless

My guess is the Sword is gained at some point after beating Gunslinger’s past, because the Gungeon is shown as a sword-based castle after beating the past implying that the Gungeon was Sword based before the Great Bullet struck Gunymede... or maybe Swordymede?

Oh neat. I wasn't aware of the west bros sprites. They seem like Trigger Twin reskins. Maybe related but I had noticed FTA introduced a bug with the Trigger Twins and my Chaos mod. In chaos modes that enable the extra enemy drop spawn (where supply drop crate comes down to drop a bonus enemy on new rooms on occasion) there would be a enemy spawn during the boss fight. I gave that separate odds of happening and had a check for the Trigger twins boss room. There would be a 20% chance that if a enemy spawn was chosen to happen for that boss fight that a third trigger twin (randomly chosen to be either Smiley or Shades) would drop instead. In the FTA update this bugged the boss fight and third trigger twin would spawn invisible and wouldn't activate properly soft locking the game. (boss fight wouldn't end since there was unkillable non functional AIActor in the room). I forget how I fixed it. I think I just spawned the third trigger twin with a different system and not via the emergency crate drop system I use for normal bonus enemy spawns. This wasn't a problem pre FTA. I bet maybe they changed something with the Trigger Twin's controller code in preparation of introducing those new west bros versions (as there is a third one) so they changed something with how the Trigger Twins code behaves when a third one is added. That's my guess. I have not taken a close look at the code that controls the Trigger Twins. :P

The bullet head stone dome is a reference to Isacc it’s also a new synergy with tear jerker and stone dome that is now in the game, similarly to the other R it was intended to bee its own gun however, was changed to a synergy

9:25 I presume it would inhale an enemy and then gain the ability to shoot the bullet that the enemy would shoot. I would also guess it would synergize with any related to a copy ability examples being Excalibur, pitchfork, and cactus (sword, fire, and needle respectively)

I think that the Real Cool Bow was originally made as a placeholder weapon early on, and just kinda decided to animate it since they knew some people would like to use it.
