Neverwinter Mod 27 - BARBARIAN CHANGES Battle Fury Bloodletter Axestorm Tank Sure Strike

Slight increase to bloodletter, reduced cast time on dreadfull Axestorm and solid battle fury change that can be usefull for self buff and also combined with trample the fallen it can help the party not by much but 8 percent, better then it was for sure. These changes seem nice on the surface but since its a tank class i suggest they add 4 more mechanics to it and exclusively allow it to now equip up to 4 at 1 time im sure they could balance it i got an idea for a new mechanic called (Domination): Upon shield being destroyed once every 20s the player heals 25% of their max health value based on 50% of their incoming healing stat. They could also have add a new bonus enhancement for it that's exclusively based on this new passive called (Triumph): Which increases the heal from 25 to 50 percent but also increases this effect cooldown which balances it to 40s 20 additional seconds on this new passive mechanic it's fair tbh another mechanic called (Beastman): Once health drops below 25% once every 30s the player rage is instantly activated with no cost and last 8s longer than usual. Bonus slot passive (Monsteration): Should slightly increase the player size speed and damage by a certain per based of the player stats.

@@SubtoDierecktive I agree with you don` t get me wrong, problem is i got few comments from very intuitive people on my channel including yours, and it sadness me that players have such good ideas and propositions simply because i know for a fact Cryptic will not implement them, and even if they do implement a just a fraction of it it would be a miracle trust me. Ive been here over 10 years and rarely these kind of ideas work out. Especially now to be honest. But yes, it would be very very helpfull if they would implement some of the ideas like yours with tweaks maybe, and from other players. Cheers my man.

@@northsidegaming That's very true, especially with the amount of time you and other. KZbinrs put in updating us with news and hours spent towards the game, would know how the devs think I do believe the biggest problem is when a game company. Doesn't listen to their players feedback, from my knowledge seems like the recent changes for Barbarian after a long time and from what I been hearing seems like before the recent update the class sentinel wasn't played as much and lacked in a lot of areas. The only way I can the game future going further, they will have to eventually work on a remake for the game. During the remake development take in feedback by doing constant survey, which gives them an idea of what the community wants to see for the game. Possibly even Livestream which allow us to chat with them, and ask questions while giving helpful suggestions for the remake but stay true to the original game. Been seeing constant bugs lately before and after update, forgot to add to my original comment regarding the second mechanic passive at the end. Meant to add it should generate more threat than usual.

Imo, hidden dagger is good for two things: - Generate a lot of rage : two charges, low cooldown, pretty self explanatory, I'm wondering if over time, it's not better as roar for rage generation. And it has some damage attached, which is fine (250mag damage for 1 charge isn't that bad) - Build "encounter stacks". There are some powerfull gear (less these times though) that require to cast often encounter powers, and having a fast recharge encounter is great for that. I'm thinking of dragonhunts sets, zariel / dragonbone vale weapons, things like that

Yes, i managed to put it in rotation actually so yes some damage, and you don`t have to get too much close to enemies range is OK, also with change of Battle Fury it also gives you some rage and it can be used to fill the full rage gauge. It just need abit of practice is all to get used to it nothing more. Sure using roar on bunch of adds will fill almost fill rage gauge to the full if not one slash and we`re there, but i see your point with the damage and all. I`ll try to fit it in upcoming build for AOE part atleast so we will see. Cheers bud and ty for the comment 🍻

Like BF now, the passive class features should contribute to BF to lower de Cool down, one of those that give "up to" Up to" idk why they have all the barbarian's feats or encounters with that up to, must be full as such in other classes. Ty North

I don't really see the point in using Axestorm either! Roar and Not So Fast are powers that are totally irreplaceable versus mobs and the last slot will always go to Bloodletter and I will leave it as it is since using the feat will loose it's healing ability!

Yeah i use the same, only i don`t heal as i got feated bloodspiller. I mean one roar and im almost full rage then just pew pew. Cheers! 🍻 Edit: Axestorm is literally worst encounter i have seen in 10 years plus playing.

@@northsidegaming Deals good damage and it's AoE, it's quite good actually, other unusable encounters are Contre from bard or rain of arrows from HR.

@ I respect your opinion but i still think its absolute junk, and i know it does decent damage, however i will do more damage just by using roar and filling up my rage bar and after that i can use relentless slash and clear mobs, because in the end i as a barbarian want to be in that battle rage and shell out in any case aoe or st as many hits with at-will , and in aoe relentless speed will help immersly. Frankly nothing much changed, especially single target wise we are still at the same boat. AOE wise i will try BF roar and NSF so i can get fast battle rage and clear adds with at will as you know it works best. But ill make a build video explaining all i just need few more days and time my friend. Soon.

if they want to make 'non-meta' encounters and powers useable and viable without overtuning them they should just stop with this stupid idea of not having buff/debuff classes, give every class that has less useful powers some buff/debuffs and then more players have a reason to use them or even be useful players if they aren't the max end game sweaty tryhards. they've killed a lot of the fun and the value of not being a fulled kitted end game player by gutting the utility of non-meta classes with that game design. unfortunately it's probably already too late in the games life cycle at this point for them to make meaningful changes like that.

In my opinion all these changes won't count to where we barb is sitting in dps ladder today. Especially i joined new trial and its very discouraging as barb dps. Barb dps need good rework w.r.to aoe and single target. When a melee dps have higher cast time than ranged mage then its a problem by itself. Our AOE dps is horrible when compare to other dps classes. Also most of the boss skills are very unfriendly to melee. Anyways am not gonna roll to wizard even though game is forcing most of the dps classes. I will be barb / GWF for life in this game :)

Can any of the bosses be controlled? I'm currently aiming my barb as a ST/boss killer and I hate using IBS because it can easily miss. I was thinking not so fast with the +3% damage for everyone, plus the rise from 5% to 15% chance of free encounter might outweigh the IBS when paired with trample the fallen and a control companion e.g. mystagogue. Thoughts?

No all bosses are imune to CC ea. cannot be contolled. Regarding IBS, what you want is to land 3 encounters out of battle rage IBS/Frenzy/Bloodspiller and then go into battlerage and do as many brash strikes as you can. Rince repeat. You have to understand that most of the damage comes from the at-will and its a fact, atleast for barbarian. Also dont forget to place relentless slash for debuff and then do rotation with encounters and brash strike the sh1t out of the boss. Cheers bud. 🍻

@@northsidegaming I completely understand that. In fact with the 5% chance, that's how my rotation worked. The extra not so fast, timed right, would allow me to keep it running non stop. The majority of my damage comes from bosses. Essentially, I've been playing for years on and off but now I'm trying to squeeze every bit of damage out of my build. From what you say, I should keep it the same for mobs and swap not so fast for IBS? I'll test this in the abyssal tears and see what comes out on top. Thanks for the reply, appreciate it mate

@@Adam-jv9wz yes I understand that, don't forget to slot steel blitz always huge portion of damage, and on boss something to build rage faster. Aoe you can use trample the fallen with steel blitz ofc, and not so fast feated ofc. If you feel that you get more dmg with your setup by all means keep it up bud, but I do advise you to, if you can run ACT and check results. Im very sad with the barbie changings, i was expecting something good for our damage, to be honest i have the feeling that we lose something in single target damage with the lower of encounter rage generation and trample to fallen to 3 percent. The axe storm is great +not so fast feats and Roar you can use axe storm even on battle rage i think from the problem to the barbarian which is the AOE is solve now instead of using bloodletter on AOE situation .....You only need recharge speed for higher CD

@@CrypticInaNutshell Agreed on mighty leap im not good at jumping into nothing then aiming, and area is too small and i find it not so interactive gameplay, and hidden daggers are just not powerfull enough, only for weaker mobs or questing. Me personally i tend to get into battlerage ASAP and just clear as fast as i can ofc with CA and TTF procced, im curious tho how those 10 percent of BF will work. Ill need to try it out. Cheers bud!
