It would be a neat mount if it was actually intended, make it a gamble 50% chance for a ton of extra dmg or way less dmg if you lose the gamble. The way it is now, you can effect the outcome a bit by lowering the enemies deflect so it has more of a chance of hitting the big number. Personally i never bought it because its not that great if it does what its supposed to and even when i heard how broken it was i stayed away because i figured a nerf was coming. If they put it back on the bazaar they cant nerf it or people will throw a fit. At this point it should be fixed, everyone had their fun with it so fix it and release it again as intended. Pretty much spot on analysis, glad someone finally addressed this.

@AlphaTrion810 pretty sure in testing the 15% dmg increase isn't that good with diminishing returns when you lose 750 mag. Only reason I say it's not trash is because of tacticians encounter reset, so it could be better now but when it was released we didn't have tacticians. Will have to see how it is if they ever fix it.

Well said GU Im doubtful any devs outside Brett Norton will say anything to the community these days i mean this as he his the only one ever really talking in the discord server for the game i mean hell messaged them about a minor issue on the forums email and a few other sources have yet to get a reply back from anyone i mean communication from devs suck these days ever since julia got promoted and kael became the CM for basically all Cryptic games at this point i mean this in the sense that im sure Kael is a great person but he should of stayed as the star trek CM and they got someone else for Neverwinter

I have it, but I don't use it and haven't upgraded it because I don't want to to acclimatise to or invest upgrade tokens into something that I know is going change at some point. I'll wait for the bugs to get evicted then decide

I only bought slab of vecna cause there was a video out explaining it was broke op. I think more folks should keep an eye on youtube videos on new items.

The bad management of NW is not gonna change unless the person in charge of these decisions changes, there is a chance with the recent layoffs, we just gotta get lucky the current incompetent workers get fired, like they should have been years ago.

I have it, but haven't done anything with it. I guess i should look into upgrading it and using it. I'm too busy using my driderform mount as it matches my color scheme and using trex mount power in queues as I seem to keep getting ones that need it.

One of the biggest problems neverwinter has had for years is the devs introduce items that if you have them are best in slot and if you don’t have them there over powered. If any thing they should just fix the double dipping, and maybe that will fix the huge range of damage the slab hits for. Nothing like doing a full rotation having the mount hit the boss for 300k then a minute later doing the same thing and having the mount hit for 3 million.

If they fix the double dipping then it probably won't be that different to other single target mounts attacks at which point it will loose a lot of its current desirability and people will stop worrying about when it might return to the wondrous bazaar

I agree. Keeping an overpowered item mount, or anything else, for any extended period is bad for the game. Being a support character who exclusively runs random groups, I definitely appreciate having a god teir dps in the group (now I understand why) but it shouldn't be a crutch. Nerf the slab and for the love of God hit the delete button on the aggro rings.

They shouldn't nerf this item as people paid alot of AD/Zen and/or Cash for it. If it were tokens of campaign currency etc, then ok. BTW... You've got more chance of winning the lottery, than Cryptic boosting other Mounts to balance this Mount. Absolutely no chance that's gonna happen, as it's easier the nerf/fix one item.

Lol they paid for something that was broken, if it didn't double dip would of they have bought it ? probably not, so they bought it at their own risk , since there is always a chance something broken gets fixed! i wouldnt feel bad at all if someone made a good inventsment that went sour, it was your choice, your risk! bottom line is it was not working as intended and what people spend is irrelevant

Great vid, my thoughts on why it havent been fixed is bcuz they dnt play their own game. In their livestream they wud do daily quests Aragon made a vid on how fast clerics can get their daily and 1 week later it was nerfed. So my guess is these players who test stuff and act like they care about the game simply pick and choose what to report to b fixed

I just find it peculiar how an otherwise completely worthless mount had just the right bug to make people buy it. There's no doubt in my mind that once that bug gets fixed Cryptic will be like "Oh, you spent 3mill AD and 200 tokens for a mount with absolutely useless insignia bonuses and a rehashed skin? Haha, because, you know, buying a virtual in-game item in a little MMO is basically on par with making investment choices in a multi-billion dollar corporation. It's like comparing apples to giraffes! And of course, if the roles were reversed, I'm sure you'd be nodding along in agreement, right? Flawed logic, think again. It is a personal choice to buy the item in the store. It doesnt bother me that people use and blow my damage away. Let them enjoy their broken mount as long as they want. I hate seeing anything you spend that kind of money on getting nerfed. Devs need to play their game and stop putting stuff in the game that isnt play tested correctly. Some of the playtesters need to be more honest in their assessments during development. Stop hyping items and then the next week telling the devs that those items are OP.

This was the announcement for the slab of vecna "*NEW* Slab of Vecna - Available for purchase at the Wondrous Bazaar only during the summer festivities, this terrifying board comes with the ability to summon a skeletal rider to attack your foes! Clearly states the time it was on sale and if you wanted it. There was at least 3 videos covering it 2 by everyones favorite snitch and one by Garlaanx. Since it says it will only be sold during Summer festivities it might be on sale next summer.
