About 3 years ago, i put up a question on the forum in regards to an exploit in a dungeon, cause i didn't wanna get in trouble. In response they gave me a warning for airing out the exploit, so i deleted my account. Turns out, no one was penalized, except me for asking a legit question.

The cheek of these people! There is *NO "WORK-AROUND"* and *NO EXPLOIT!* It's normal gameplay, the way Winter Festival has always been coded to work. I've played nearly 11 years and have never used an "exploit" in my life. I never even did a single Hunt during "Huntgate". I avoid them like the plague. Every year, for 10 years, I take all my characters to Winter Festival and talk to the mayor to collect all the quests, including _"Star Stuff"._ Then I cycle through Invoking and do _"Star Stuff"._ Then I cycle through Invoking and do the Telescope quest. Then I repeat the same thing every day. And I get a Starlight Parcel/Auril's Favour on every character, because they all have the quest, although Starlight Parcels were never limited to two characters per account. There is no "glitch" to abuse! Invoking and claiming the quests, then invoking and doing the quest for the free parcel has always been part of normal game play and how Winter Festival is designed and coded to work. Oh, but this year they decided to call normal gameplay an "exploit"! I do recall they banned thousands the first Winter Festival, because the Starlight Parcels were account-bound, instead of character-bound. So people pooled them on the same character to increase the "reward" drops. But as they were account-bound, and the NPC said she would give all our character's one every single day, and nowhere did it say they were meant to be character-bound, or that we were not allowed to actually get one per day per character, like the NPC says we can, they reversed the ban. So when they made this statement on Monday I stopped doing _"Star Stuff"_ on all characters but two. I will not risk my account for a broken companion that, if it is any good at all, will be nerfed in a few months anyway. And I'm certainly spending no Zen. {:o:O:}

The exchange is back up to 11 months on PC. My other half just got his from that far ago. I used to track it every day, but ended up giving up on it. The backlog amount is going down, however the time to get that backlog amount is going up due to the number of players decreasing.

Preach brother Garlaanx. However, based on pass issues, it is possible someone intentionally did this, but it is more likely incompetence is the most likely culprit. Also the only reason they would even think banning anyone is they know this was 100% a money grab to make these changes to this event. While I have been logging back in for this event, and there seem to be more instants than last year. I personally am not seeing anymore people doing any of the events on Xbox.

One thing for sure their customer service wasn't as good as they are back when Neverwinter just Launch that first few years period. That was when I first try to purchase Zen with Credit Card and couldn't go thru, I submitted a ticket and it took them less than 2 hours to respond me and immediately approved my purchase. Now November 2024, I face the same issue when I try to make my first CC Zen purchase aiming for the zen promotion ending in less than1 day ( after quitting Neverwinter for 4 years) , I got an error message and my CC purchase couldn't go thru after few tries and I submitted a ticket. It took them nearly 1 day plus to respond me ( reason is overloaded tickets to respond) and zen promotion has ended. So yeah I save my money and didnt purchase the Zen.

Edit: Today (December 19th) you can still pickup quest on all chars, but when you turn them in, the first char gets the voucher, the rest get nothing. So only ONE will get a voucher Tried it on 3 accounts, same on all. If you pickup quest on more than 2 chars only ONE will get voucher. So they decided to B*ttF*u*k all players still trying by only letting them get 1 voucher. Winter Event is the only event that I kept doing as it could give a lot of usable stuff. The nerf of Winter Event is redicilous. A ban would actually be nice, as I only play the campaigns, as I am DONE with end game dungeons. SO many requirements from other players that you need to have this and that companion/mount to be able to get in a party. Companions/mounts ofc that is mostly only obtainable using Zen. I am DONE buying companions/mounts for Zen. I have VIP for the easy access to travel signpost, mailbox and bank. The daily "free" key is worthelss as it always only gives crap opening the lockboxes. So ban away CRAPTIC!!!

This is another half-baked creation by these devs. Try to get the fashion fixed - never after 4 years of begging. Letting them know about broken tooltips - they treat you like you did something wrong. The Masquerade of Liars - I found out why they call it that! There was no place that they stated - "only one Visage per account". They argued with me that I was wrong and should read the details. My whole family read the detail, and when I said that we still couldn't find it, and asked for the specific paragraph that the "only one Visage per account", was posted, they referred me back to the same article. Then they had the nerve to send me a survey, asking me how they did. I'm glad I have a good sense of humor! Merry Christmas fellow gamers, and our family hopes the new year brings us all a better quality of life in Neverwinter.

They wouldn't even have to. That's what the announcements system is for! It shows up as a red marker on your Hud direction you to the menu screens to tell you what they want you to know. Now I know for sure they're just itching to finally ban that last player so they can shut down the game servers for good!

Just doing on 2 characters for that parcel quest already cause me headache and dizziness 😵. 3D game especially first person view 3D game will cause me bad dizziness and that winter race one really give me all out dizziness 😔. After 2 days of doing the parcel quest for 2 characters, I totally give up. Lame quest , not worth doing, just going to do the star quest only and the 2 voucher quest.

So the update to fix this 'glitch' came out and already several things are broken. You know the Power Set quality of life they had....yeah...the ability to change your set without going into the menu has been removed as the button to do so via a button command on controller has been removed. Oh, and the Dungeon Queues broke when I got a party consisting of 3 DPS and 2 Healers...no Tank in an Imperial Citadel. If only Cryptic...oh wait...ahem... *Craptic* , were so enthusiastic about fixing the actual functionality of this game as much as they are monetizing it.

Of course they're going to nerf that comp. That's what they always do. Get everyone going nuts over it trying to get it and spending to get it, put it in their loadouts and then later on boom, nerfed to the ground, it's what Cryptic do. They know exactly what they're doing. They've done the same thing for years and years and years. At this point if you defend the company and say it's not intentional you are a bonafide shill for the company, because this behaviour cannot be accidental the pattern is too neat and too consistent. It's like fkg clockwork. Get everyone jumping around like trained seals to chase this new BiS comp then nerf it later after everyone has it, and bring out a new one in a lockbox which is better. They know what they're doing. I did not pick the term #ScamLand lightly. I knew exactly what I was saying. We know what they're doing, and will always do. And while we veterans know better, it's the new players who don't know any better being sucked-in as Garl constantly says which is the crap part, and Craptic does it on purpose. And at the end of the day, it's pixels. They cost nothing. It's Christmas. The error was making it limited to only 2 per account a day in the first place, it's stingy which is Cryptic's other personal trait after sadistic, incompetent, greedy and cynical. Then I cycle through invoking and do the Omen of Stars quest with the telescope. How am I supposed to know that this year they changed it and intended us to only get two per account per day, instead of 34, when the NPC still says she will give ALL our character's one every single day, and nowhere did it say that we were not allowed to actually get one per day per character, like the NPC says we can? This year, they decided to call it an "exploit", when Support said that only getting two per account was the bug? {:o:O:}

Greedy little creeps feel entitled to the maximum number of parcels and do NOT expect to actually have to play any winter games for them. Nope. So instead of doing the intended participation, they look for exploits EVERYWHERE, and they found this one, and they knew what they were doing. I honest to god hope they're banned for life, and that'll be one more strain of dirtbag removed from our beloved game.
