He talks about only Breaking free of death and decay once you have resurrected and become one with God. But does this mean you can walk the earth and not decay if you have resurrected? Or is it a case that as long as you walk the earth you decay and die? If the former is the case, then why did Neville decay and die?

Towards the end of this lecture Neville talks about the scene he came across of people eating soup at a dining table and how he arrested the activity etc. But is he referring to a physical scene of this 3d world or is he talking about a scene in his mind?

A vision he had while in meditation. He has explained in other lectures that he had experienced visions from a very young age. "Visions" being different from typical dreams where we are sound asleep, whereas these visions he refers to at times are in a meditative state, in other words, he wasn't in complete sleep, but a drowsy, yet attentive state.

To be clear though, it could have been a nighttime dream as well. He claims to have gained an extensive understanding of dream symbolism, and knew that when one's mind is well disciplined, that nighttime dreams aren't just a jumbled mess of randomness, but it actually hold great truth if one knows how to interpret them. I am certainly not trying to say whether it was vision or a dream. He often quoted this Bible passage (and I'm paraphrasing slightly), "In a dream, in a vision of the night, God opens men's minds and they receive instructions."

Then he gave up his soul. St Bridget of Sweden was told his life story. You cannot not but be moved and weep in sorrow for committing even one venial sin, never mind mortal sin after reading what He went through for us.
