Sure. Sometimes people wait for a sign and then base their desires off of that. For example, a man is thinking of switching careers but he is afraid to make the move until his wife ways I think a career change will be good for you. He then thinks that it is a sign showing him to go after the career change. But based on the law of consciousness and how we are all connected and how imagination creates reality, the wife was only reflecting his own consciousness. So the things we see in the outer world only manifest after we have planted a seed that sprouts in reality.
