We speak to Abhishek Varma, Nevin Dalvin's friend. Nevin Dalvin was one of the 3 IAS aspirants killed when the basement of their Delhi Coaching Centre - Rau's Academy Study Circle - flooded. Abhishek says that Nevin died trying to save others -"he died a hero". Breaking down several times during this conversation with Barkha Dutt, he says, a police officer at the RML Hospital told him "clearly, that there were 8 bodies... Tell us the Truth". So far, only 3 deaths have been reported. He has this heartbreaking message for all Indians.

42:32 - I was classmate of Abhishek . I left the coaching even before the course got over cuz i know battling every day to survive within a failed system isn't worth it.i had no frnds in institute most of the time sitting at the back near the door so i could run fast after class. i had chest pain and my health was weak .. so i took the decision to go back to my home . My mental health was my priority back then sometimes i regret why did waste my parents money and couldn't bring any result but when i discuss about that in home both my parents says that all they care about is my well-being 😢 so pls if anyone wants to go there pls think are u mentally ready to face injustice. I am agree with him. He is saying truth that we students are equally responsible for the incident . Because we don't take actions at right time .we also wait for something to happen and then aware . why students have not protested before the incidence happened. If they did it,may be lives of these 3 students would have saved. The coaching Is completely responsible! This guy I have sympathies with him! But the fee their is not at all justified! Such high fee all coachings and they provide is newly crafted courses! For example their is a trend of mains quality improvement! We are paying you 2lakh rupees and with that they provide test series of that year only! Which is a waste! None of the teachers went down to help the traped students! Means people their don't have the basic sense that water usually get logged and directly water will flow to the basements and they teach drainage system and urban flooding topics! Why biometric system was there? So that anybody not subscribes to there course can't access the places! Guards would have simply done that role! They got the map passed claiming the area as a store?? Then how come owner is not responsible?? Entire administration of raus ias is pathetic mean literally very bad! Please don't have any soft corner for such people who cannot assure security of students form whom they are taking lakh of rupees! And this guy is proving some wrong info as well! In an old video somewhere in 2022 raus ias you tube channel used to flaunt about the new campus and in that Nagender one of the faculty used to say 'we are building so and so library for the students and things like that! So the things that on students request they converted it is a complete lie!! They created the basements only for the purpose of having a library and in doing that violated the norms...bribed the MCD officals and illegal got the clearances done! And all this resulted in terrible death if innocent people who died under sewage water suffocating! Utterly horrifying! And cannot be justifed at any cost!! Raus ias death circle! Where people paid in lakhs and their biometric done only to have a terrifying death!

75yrs of independence- still standards of basic human needs of water , air , food pollution is below health standards . Building consents, requirements for health and safety non-existent . Basic requirements for remote villages is the dark ages. Young people aspire to become IAS officers , most corrupt repetition for gazetted officers . Young India , rise up , go into the country , become farmers . grow up environmentally contributing to Mother Earth . involve your intelligent selves , invest in the future healing , cleansing growing a healthy respectful human society . Safety and Bharatha are 2 separate concepts. PGs Hospatals, hotels, roads, homes all unsafe for flooding fire etc. Bharathas youth and children are being failed by parents, society and govt. Today every one sheds tears. Everyday elderly are struggling to cross roads in delhi bangalore etc, childern are getting raped, students are being misguided and used, youth are completely shattered not about this but in many ways. The older people have ushrped the lives of youth.
