Nice one there gody! They could add some metrocity’s or Volvo bzl’s but the bzl’s blind glitch out SO much . The stagecoach mmc looks nice on the 310 , it suits it . The kick down on the mmc is beautiful! The ibus is hilarious since TFL spelt it wrong 😂😂and it’s kinda weird how it says ‘ Three One O 💀💀💀. I like this route , hopefully it won’t get withdrawn (although it’s might due to its passengers). I like the old stagecoach seat moquette was better than the refurbished version. Brand new routes don’t suddenly start with heavy loadings - they take time to build up. One advantage of the TfL system is that they can afford to be patient and give the route time to build. I recall routes started with Metroriders and Darts which eventually became double deck routes due to loadings. And the reason it only runs 0700-1900 is the same. As loadings increase so will service provision.

They could've just extended the 210 to Stamford Hill. Some might say that it would have to do a double run at Finsbury Park. In that case, they should turn the 310 into an express route so it avoids duplication, and potentially be part of Superloop 3.

I don't like this route honestly, it's a pretty much useless route, I mean the 253 & 210 exists! it's a route created purely for votes, it serves pretty much only a Jewish community I don't see why anyone would use this route. I think if it ended at Archway and started at maybe Stoke Newington or Clapton it would be way better, I mean I see why people will want to go to Archway. Also on 4:06 the Holy day is Saturday, infact it was planned to start the trial on Saturday but it was postponed probably for this reaon

It feels a bit pointless as the 210 and combined 253/4 provide this route already with minimal waiting times at Finsbury Park, maybe different if the new route actually served areas not previously served by bus. Re-routing the 210 down Hornsey Road then Seven Sisters Road to get to Stamford Hill if they really can't use single deckers on the 210, would be a better solution. Also I'm biased as I use the real 310 (once a green London bus) out of Waltham Cross a lot and think that route along with several routes in the Cheshunt and Waltham Abbey areas would be better served under TFL like they were decades ago. Cross boundary services between London, Hertfordshire and Essex need massive improvements and it irks me when TFL claims they have no money to our counties in the sticks and then does stuff like this. Commuter towns around London could benefit from decent public transport links and Greater London would benefit from reduced congestion and its many health benefits if TFL would just change its mindset. Superloop was a step in the right direction.

For literally over a decade (check the London Assembly questions asked on the matter) a direct service between these two places has been wanted, due to several factors which I shall explain: 1. Many charedi (ultra-orthodox) Jews do not drive and need to travel between these two places for work/family. 2. There have been repeated anti-semitic attacks on people making this journey who are changing buses at Finsbury Park, and these have likely gotten far worse and more frequent since October 2023 due to the current political climate. I’m talking about a 500-600% increase over the number of incidents of this kind in previous years. Nevertheless I expect this route will get cut quite quickly unless there is an explicit push to get the charedi community using it. They are a very insular community and so are hesitant to use new things or new transport routes without explicit advice from their trusted leaders, especially not on buses as they have clearly suffered abuse on them in the past. I really hope the community starts to push this as a good and safe option because then it’ll be busy constantly, i just doubt thisll happen unfortunately.

I read there was another bus company with submitted a cheaper bid than stagecoach but stagecoach was able to get the route started sooner hence why tfl chose stagecoach to run the route.
