2008 R6 was the first production 600 to break 170mph. It is a good powerplant. They have in fact improved it, giving better low and mid end some how.

@@REM44MAG this one is slower than my 2007 R6... Stock to stock, on high RPMs mine pulls away... The fastest R6 was the 2008/2009, it had like 4hp more and a better low end torque, the 2010 is just as fast as mine (it had restrictions that made it slower than the 2009) and this new one is also a bit slower...

@@sergiooliveira1127 I doubt they get slower throughout the years, yea maybe more "restrictions" but by modding the ECU you can uncork a lot of ponies. Flashtune the ECU on a Dyno and you will see what it is really capable of. The guy that did my bike said he was able to get 114 hp out of a bran new stock 2012 R6, my 09 only made 110-112hp.

M3RCwithTh3M0UTh the motorcycle is equipped in quickshifter which is standard in new bikes nowadays. It allows you to upshift without clutch and with full gas on
