NEW 2018 Can-Am Outlander 850 XMR!

Bought mine today, love it. I was almost disappointed. When I got home I took it for a spin out behind my house in an open grassy area and after a few min it was spilling coolant out the front of the atv. Luckily it was only a loose radiator cap. Tightened it down and problem solved. Could have ended in catastrophe though, good thing i cought it time.

You're smart dude. The 850 and 650 outlanders don't have all the heating and plastic melting problems the 1000's have. Also, I think it was a poor choice to change the tires for the 2018 lineup. There is no way they will clean out as well as silverbacks though I'm sure they actually measure taller. I've also seen quite a few xmr 650/800/850 bikes without the rear bumper.

The XMR's are geared different than the regular model. And supposedly, the XMR rear diffs are stronger. I imagine they had to drop certain parts to keep the price down. Hand guards and rear brush guards can be added.

I like the cryptids a lot. Not great in sand and obviously not at rock climbing but decent on trails and excel in mud. We have the same shocks and mine are still stiff as hell after 40 hours.. -2017 outlander 850 xmr

Wutthaduck they are made really to go on the front of regular can ams since the plastic racks are the same front and back it latches on. Just go to the dealership and they will Hook you up and show you how to use it
