I appreciate you going fully through the process both off and on without glazing over details or time lapsing

Older vid but well worth a watch. Most don't show lowering the rails as a final tidier look. I never bothered till I bought a boot. A step not needed but still we should know about our Jeeps Keep Jeeping

Love this video - I'm 5'1 and I'm assuming the person in the video is about my height. I don't have side steps yet and I was climbing inside standing on the seats to push the top back. My first try doing it was hard. She's inspiring I can do it by myself and don't need help!

It doesn't seem as if unlatching the rails really accomplishes that much. Does it really lower the overall exposure of the top to the wind? Does it really give one that much more visibility? I'm going to have to try this on mine. I'm worried that at 70 mpy it might flop around a bit.

Can the soft top be completely removed like the hardtop?
@Saffordofwinchester5 жыл бұрын
yes, it can be if you unbolt the frame of the top from the body.

Great video. What company is the soft top from? Any suggestions for a first time jeep owner?
@Saffordofwinchester5 жыл бұрын
Hi Paul! I believe that the tops are made by BestTop, but it's a stock top. And welcome to the Jeep Life. If you have any questions regarding your jeep please contact us at (540) 667-5532.

Hermoso. Acá en Argentina si los chorros se enteran de lo lo fácil que es abrir te pelan el jeep en un instante.

Good video but you left out an important step in securing the top down. After flipping the hinge locks press down on the corners to really lock it down. It's in the instructions. Watch this kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXjXXqVjnqqYq9k

I wish she had shown how to just put the top back. Idc about taking it all the way off or down.

The new soft top is more difficult than old one

Agreed! With the exception of the zippers, the JK was MUCH better because it completely goes down. and doesn't block the rear view.

Seems like a lot of work. I just press a button on my BMW 4 Series convertible. Nice looking Jeep tho.
