I’m trying to figure how much better is the mic on the opencom compared to the openrun pro. I’m a truck driver looking for a headset mainly for calls, but would also like a versatile headset that I can use while working out. Would rather not have the boom mic but if it is a lot better I guess I would go with it.

I have the aeropex prior generation so much better I got the pro they sound muffled. Unfortunately aeropex you can’t make calls but if you want more for music for working out get the aeropex

How was the audio test captured? Mic against the bone conducting part?

It is the best review I have watched about PRO. You exactly reviewed the features I had concerns as end-user. But my choice is OpenRun, a balance between quality and price :-) Thank you for your job.

I hope they will add the app support for Opencom as well. 🙏🙏🙏

I really want these, but I'm afraid they might not fit, because I have quite a large head, and they are not adjustable. I get bad ear infections so I've been looking for a alternative to in ears that aren't huge and bulky like over ears. any thoughts?
@leanne15862 жыл бұрын
I use my Galaxy buds Live because of in ear eczema and regular ear infections. Even with my genetic small ears the fit perfectly.

Really, no USB-C charging port? Not even a proprietary cable with a USB-c port on the other end. *sigh*

Got the pros for me, and non-pros for my brother who's gonna value the ipx67 rating more than I do. Anyway, great headset for casual listening and light physical activity. Not suited for noisy environments, obviously, haven't tried ear plugs with them yet. I'm the guy wearing in-ear at doctors appointment, and pretty much everywhere else. I'm also the guy who doesn't mind spending on audio equipment (dedicated subwoofer, 2-channel amp, speakers...). So, sound quality-wise, they are NOT for critical listening, and definitely on the casual side. It's like having cheap stereo speakers (say JBL portables, the ones without much bass). If that's what you want, they're great. If you're looking to replace you high quality ear buds, full of bass and stereo imagining, this is not it. But, they do the job, I got sensitive to in-ears, and big headphones are not for me. Will see tomorrow how they fare with Teams conference calls.

In your opinion, is it worth it to jump from the 8th generation to the 9th?

I'm looking for a quality bone-conduction headset to use with my Bluetooth-enabled Samsung smart TV (UN49KU7000F). The TV has no way to modulate the volume. Can Beatolo do this?

I didn't follow the 2 noisy environments example. Was one for a different headphone or was it the same headphone with some sort of noise cancelling for the call?

How does these compare to the older version the areo peks, are they worth the upgrade
@NomadicBristolview2 жыл бұрын
Most things are about the same, controls, mids and highs. The bass is better on these, and that's the biggest upgrade to me. Battery life goes from 8 to 10 hours, that's always welcome. There is also a fast charge feature now, not very important to me but it's nice in a pinch.

I tried these, and I am going to be returning them. I use bone conduction to protect my hearing. I love the Aeropex, now called open run, because of their flat sound. The open run pro have a very bass heavy sound.

I had the Opencomm and had to return them because the multi-connect did not work very well. The headphones would not always switch devices and I would eventually have to completely reset them and re-pair them to the two devices (my laptop and my mobile). Has that improved with the Openrun Pro's, and have you tested the Opencomm UC version that also just came out?

i don't know much about "bone conduction " these are more like micro speakers held right outside of my ears. the best sound is when the ear pieces are right over the ears instead of just infront of it
