NEW 2021 Coachman Acadia 545

This week I take a closer look at the Coachman Acadia 545, filmed in September. Yes I am wearing a mask to comply with the requirements in place at the dealership. I love that lay out alot more privacy when visitors need to use your toilet. In cara they have to walk through my bedroom

This is a lovely caravan, the prices of Coachman seem so high. I like that it has Alde heating and I like the front window. Shame there isn’t a big front locker as I like to keep my stuff in the front. Thank you for another great review and I’m looking forward to next weeks already. I hope I can get away for a bit at New Year but will have to see with the tiers and how safe it feels.

Great review again guys. We were so close to buying the Acadia but the only thing that made us choose the Bailey instead was the short front seats in the Acadia lounge. Other than that the quality was very good in the coachman. 👍

Nice van but I think usability of any user would quickly become compromised due to a poor kitchen layout. Great video both making us all aware of these issues!

Thank you Douglas, with the MTPLM of this I would be looking at a car with a kerb weight of 1700kg and over. You would have not check the noseweight too and make sure you had B+E on your licence. Most mid size SUV types or large saloons would give you the kerbweight and towing capacity. There is a good tow car check website if you search tow car checker, it will match the car your looking at with the caravan. It tells you how good a match it is. 😊 Karina

Katrina good review the reviews you done in 2020 on coachman it added the caravan to the check out list and we did purchase the VIP 545 three weeks before lockdown was the delivery date so we had a short season like every one else but let’s hope things get better next year

@@Andeecee I have already added items during lockdown new dab radio 2 x230 sockets three USB’s alde heating controller back up battery discrete room sensor ordered a gas auto switch over regulator so I have been busy

Wages are still 35 to 60 dollars and hours here and pension 600 a week amd superannuation is around 300 k on a trade per peoples

Why do manufacturers mount doors that open to the front? I like to add a handrail not only to enable my wife to get aboard with the use of her right hand but also to act as a security lock. Impossible with these doors.

Good effort to review a Caravan which from Coachman have sold themselves short. The spec looks very basic and for the money there are other better thought out layouts. Coupled with microwave above the cooker and no room to bend over to get into the oven show, it’s one to be avoided,
