I was considering getting this for my '24 Civic EX-L Hatchback. I have to ask, do you think the rear upper door trim pieces would fit on the hatchback model? I see you have a sedan, and the website does not say if this is specifically for the sedan or if it's compatible for both models. Awesome job, Tater, and you, Jason. This is crazy, over the top. They should have more explanation what all of those were for. Great for a car like yours that you showcase with everything. Too much work and complexity. I would rather just build up my stereo system with top of the line amps, speakers, subwoofer, DSP processor and such in whatever I plan to get.

@@717PROJECT There are many great brands. For these applications, I would keep the stock deck for obvious reasons, but some techies add external decks or sound sources in addition to their OEM infotainment unit. I would get stock location replacement speakers, and a subwoofer box preferable for your needs and size preference, etc. A built in one like some cone factory installed would also be preferred in a customer installation. I would basically upgrade the amps and get a powered subwoofer. Some can fit under the front seats. Favorite brands for amps and speakers is Rockford Fosgate, Or Polk Audio or Infinity Speakers, or JBL and Sony and many other brands. Focal is really nice, but can be pricey. You can upgrade the sound source output with DSP units, EQs or other sound processors. I heard the OEM stereos in the Civics and HR-V Sport were said to be pretty good but yeah, I would not scrimp on the upgrades, especially the speakers. For RF, I would and least get the mid line Punch series or upper line Power series speakers and Amos instead of the entry level Prime series, even though those are good, too. How much watts is up to you. I would get minimum 300 watts for the main speakers and maybe a 150 to 200 watt subwoofer as a general guideline. More powerful amps and speakers that can handle them sound better at low volume, too. My 2984 Grand National had a real nice custom stereo with high powered tweeters in the top of the dashboard, custom mounted, 2 way plate speakers on the lower front doors and a pair of 4 way 6x9 speakers on their rear deck with adapters to fit the narrow shelf with 4x10 OEM speakers. I had 2 120 watt amps under the front seats. I had a custom Pioneer Centrate high tech deck and EW, but replaced it after it started glitching with a top of the line Alpine deck. Now that lots of the OEM and aftermarket stereos no longer have cassette or CD players, they can be made a lot cheaper, and for even older cars without all the vehicle function controls integrated into the head unit, you can get decent decks, even from Walmart for crap. If you are not going to a local stereo shop to have it done, one of the best places with tech advice for installation and all the tools and kits you need would be www.crutchfield.com they have other great stuff for home and whatever, but make a DIY car stereo upgrade easy, and have a good selection of products.

Probably going either 2 12's or 3 10's. Not sure what brand yet. Don't really want a lot of rattle so I might dynomat it too.

hi my friend I have a 2023 honda civic and I am using this car from 5 tousand kms. I am the second owner of this car. I didn't know that I have this light system but today it worked suddenly. I surprised. but it worked just 3 times less than a minute while I am on road. I found the fwd colour and fwd mode switches under steering wheel. But I cannot start the system manually. I think there is a problem on the system. I hope I can find someone to fix it. Because everything can work but cannot work when I want. I dont want to buy another. Thanks for video.
