Congrats to you and the Marine! dagummit, ya had me choked up there. I graduated as a Marine Corps Reservist on that same parade deck in 1989. They put me through collage and gave me a little vacation to Desert Storm. They even took me in after collage, made me an officer and turned me loose with an F/A-18 Hornet. 26 years in total. I finished in the Reserves.
@iversfarms3 жыл бұрын
I bet flying the hornet was a good time
@LtColDaddy713 жыл бұрын
@@iversfarms The Hornet has a back story that is typical Marine Corps. Nobody would buy it because it only hits Mach 1.8, so we bought them dirt cheap. The Navy went to it later, once they saw how good it worked for us, but added a bigger wing to make it perform better off the aircraft carriers. We flew our versions off the boats just fine, but I guess I see their point. You never fight supersonic, we don’t run from a fight, and we’ll kill you way before you get your speed faster than we can go. It was a match made in heaven. I flew the F-5 with VMFT-401 (Snipers) twice over my tenure. Commanded it the 2nd tour. t’s a machine that will let you push and pull as hard as you want, no computer stepping in and telling you no by not executing your inputs. That’s an aggressor squadron. It also didn’t have the ability to tell on you if you went over the limits. That came in handy during training a few times after I splashed aircraft far newer and better according to the specs.

Hey Reese, sometime, would you do a family tree type thing? I watched the history video, very cool. I was thinking just a little "thing" in your information. Your Dad, Your Uncle, your generation and the adult kids that work on the farm (and the Marine so we can tell who his father is). Just the adults on the farm. Just make it easier for us to get to know you all. Like a Quick Reference. You have a great channel and I don't understand how you only have 14k subscribers. I would love to see your channel grow!

They did a video awhile back where Dennis and George talked about the farm history and they covered who is who. Dennis and George, bosses. Reese and Garrett are Dennis's sons, Garrett isn't a fan of youtube so rarely seen, Eli is his son. David is George's son. That's all the family, others are hired help. It's 95 degrees out and I'm bored so I decided to answer for Reese :) Hope that helps

Suggestion on the suction line, there are roaring suction screens you can put on the end they are water powered drive by water on your water pump. We used several of them when we pumped out of the river

We pump out of the river also, we use a river screen from clay center Kansas, we used to do it the way you do and this is much easier, self cleaning while running and never looses prime.
