New 2023 Fiat Fastback - 5-door Coupe SUV

The Fiat Fastback has just been launched and is already a huge success, moving the market. The SUV coupé already had 5,400 units sold in just ten days after its launch , which took place on September 14. The expectation was 2,500 to 3,000 vehicles sold per month (on average, up to 1,000 cars every ten days), that is, the initial results exceeded the estimate by more than five times.
“Initial sales are usually faster, so it was expected that in this first month, due to expectations about the launch, the result would exceed the average monthly volume forecast, but we still had very significant numbers that demonstrate the full sales potential of the Fiat Fastback. The most commercialized version was the top of the range Limited Edition Powered by Abarth, which shows that we were right to offer a more sporty option. We have great expectations that the Fastback can occupy a prominent position in the B-SUVs segment”, says Herlander Zola, Fiat's Senior Vice President in South America.
“We achieved this result not only because the Fastback has incredible attributes, such as a unique design, the largest trunk in its category, ample interior space, a lot of technology and safety, in addition to the high performance of the turbo engines, but also for the action we took during the launch event in partnership with the dealer network that took people to get to know the car up close”, adds the executive.
The SUV coupé is one of the protagonists in Fiat's repositioning in the market and has become the top of the range among the brand's passenger vehicles, with a new level of perception of value. With Fiat's characteristic Italian-Brazilian design, it has a fluid, agile, imposing and seductive design on the outside and a sophisticated, sporty and futuristic interior. Ensuring a unique combination of high performance with maximum security, Fastback was developed on the MLA platform, one of the most modern and versatile of Stellantis, fully modular and that delivers a lot of quality and robustness.
The model has a wide list of equipment such as driving aid items (automatic emergency braking, lane change alert and automatic headlight switching), electronic handbrake, paddle shifters (butterfly), full digital 7-inch cluster. inches and multimedia center up to 10.1 inches. It also has ample interior space, a higher driving position and has the largest trunk in the category with an impressive 600 liters of capacity.
To top it off, the Fiat Fastback comes equipped with two engine and transmission options. In the Audace and Impetus versions, it has the Turbo 200 Flex engine with a power of 130 hp with ethanol (125 hp with gasoline) and torque of 200 Nm in conjunction with the CVT gearbox. In the Limited Edition Powered by Abarth version, it has the Turbo 270 Flex engine with a power of 185 hp with ethanol (180 hp with gasoline) and 270 Nm of torque, with the best weight-to-power ratio in the category (7 kg / hp) and a 0 to 100km/h in just 8.1 seconds, a time worthy of the best sports cars. In this version, the engine is coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
