@@tomoates8568 I won’t because all I see that I could want from the sport version is maybe the piggyback suspension. I will be getting mine with a quick release windshield. Upgrades from the sport edition will work with any Chief configuration.

@@tomoates8568 never mind. I requested the sport Chief. I talked to my guy at the dealer and he says the suspension and installation of that suspension is more than the price difference. But it set me back one more month. It’s ok. I can wait for the better ride.

Personally I’m gonna go for this sport chief, I really dig how aggressive it is. Edit: just saw your next reply lol, yeah the sport gives a lot of value for that extra 1k. You can always swap out the little fairing for a windshield if you want, so no big deal there

I'm guessing it will have what we already know, along with a fairing, probably a 116 stage 2 kit(cams, injectors, and throttle body). It will probably also have a 2-into-1 exhaust, custom color and tank design, and a new air intake.

Deal breaker is price for me. I love the chief dark horse and I’m excited to see the sport but keep going any higher in price and you’re turning into the overly priced Harley. Don’t get me wrong I like the Harleys but I’m a blue collar worker who loves to ride and not be broke.

I love my Chief Bobber Dark Horse, but this might just tempt me that bit further. The 116 is a phenomenal engine; just waiting to see what upgrades the Sport has.

I think it’s definitely going to have some sort of sportier look, cosmetically, compared to the other models. Not just performance upgrades.

i'll never understand why american bike makers use glorified tractor engines on their bikes.the only reason i can think of is so many of their buyers weigh 75% as much as their bikes.it takes a tractor engine to get all that weight moving.otherwise they would need a granny gear to move off the spot.

Think Low Rider S. I owned that bike before purchasing my 2022 Chief Dark Horse Bobber. This will be Indians answer to that awesome machine and I am glad for it. We can now get Low rider S performance with inverted forks and Brembo brakes but with Ride Command and Indian cool factor. Oh wait, Democrats are still in control, it will be 2026 before you can buy your sport Chief because of supply chain nightmares. Maybe Biden and Pelosi will just start launching nukes. Anyways, very cool bike if we live long enough for it to make it to market.
