New model replaces Basecamp 6 - the 3 offers a fold down front bed a design feature used in the very earliest caravans this new addition sees the Basecamp range receive some tweaks overall

Nice quirky van. I’d love the BC2 but the prices are too high when you compare it to the Swift Sprite compact which is £1000’s cheaper

if BF was mass produced it would be cheaper but the Compact is a super tourer

@@caravanindustryexpertandyjenk I would presume there’re both built on the same assembly line in the Swift factory. The BaseCamp is more desirable especially to younger caravanners hence the higher prices compared to their other ranges

ahh sorry thought you meant the Bare foot 😂 yes the compact is cheaper the BC has a lot of fancy mouldings - would like a stripped down BC lighter and cheaper with less spec

ah that bed idea is an old idea dating back to the 20's! and was still used till the 50's so not totally new ha ha !

I think it has mileage - the front folding bed is an old idea but it works quite well - thanks for comments

@@caravanindustryexpertandyjenk yea I love the old styles and I wonder if the end kitchen like in the adria Rio grande prototype will start to appear in higher end vans too

@@heyholetstow I doubt it a design thats been around for many years front end kitchens especially in the 60's - I cant see a UK maker bringing it back but who knows
