This must be the year for Red and Gold!! So many decorators are using it and I am 100% loving it!! The ribbons on the trees are just perfect . The entryway is so stunning l wanted to look at it for a long time. And the Santa picture--a mouse in his pocket! How darling is that! Oh how gorgeous the entryway turned out. You made me chuckle over the few berries that broke off (I do the same as you - there is always a spot for a few red berries!). My decorating has been finished for a few weeks, as I am preparing for surgery. The festive decorations will make me feel cozy while recuperating. Very nice video.

I love your entryway decor so, so much! It's so warm and cozy and super festive! Holstein definitely completes the whole look! I finished my Christmas decorating yesterday. My daughter and I lost our sweet dog last week. She passed away at 11 years old. We miss her so much, so the holiday decorating has been a calming comfort to us.

It is so pretty. The trees put it over the top gorgeous. I used white fur rugs under my tree. The backing makes it easy to make hills and valleys. I placed 2 white fur deer on it and a few pinecones. Love it. 🌲

We have snow here in Va today also and it’s 28 degrees tonight. It’s supposed to warm up some next week and I may have to wait until after then to decorate outside. I’m working on the inside this week and hope to start baking some next week. I do think the pencil trees really made a statement. I love the reds and golds together. WOW...What a winter wonderland out side! Your entryway is so so gorgeous and inviting!! It is giving me such a cozy homey welcoming feeling. I love the pencil trees. They are perfect beside the table. The lights add so much magic. Love the traditional colors. All your various textures go so well together. I love the gold accents as well. The Santa picture adds a touch of whimsy. You always decorate your little shelf in such a cute way. So Hilarious seeing Holstein jumping to get up on the blanket even before you were finished.😅 I haven't had a lot of time to decorate. I did do my kitchen because that I am keeping simple. On my way home today I stopped at Canadian Tire to buy my branches and I am now preparing the pots to put outside. I will do a bit each night so I can hopefully have it done by the weekend. I have 2 family suppers to go to, so that should be very nice and also some outings with friends. I haven't done any baking which I do miss however I hope to still get a little done before the holidays really set in. I also just want to have some down time over the holidays to be able to relax and watch some movies and catch up on some reading. You always bring us so much joy all year through!! Please know how much you are appreciated and loved. I wish you a wonderful rest of your evening and yes, take advantage of sitting back to enjoy all your beautiful surroundings. I don't plan to do any cooking or baking this year. It's just 2 much work. I've been decorating my home since October. I just want to enjoy December doing minimal anything 😀. Saturday I told my friend I was not baking my traditional Jamaican Christmas Black cake. I gave all the ingredients and told her to get to work. Yesterday she brought me the rum cake😂. Because it is a must to start December eating your first slice.
