How great to have 2 open shelves to decorate. Everything is so cute. I also decorate w/gingerbread in my kitchen. I live in a 1910 farmhouse on 80 acres in WI. One whole side of my house is for eating. I have a bay window in my kitchen eating area. I have gingerbread & candy pillows there. In that area I have a Hoosier cabinet, 1930's stove, 1935 Frigidaire & a porcelain table. Next I have a real fireplace and have a seating area. Next comes my proper kitchen w/cabinets & appliances. Then next is my FDR. I decorate it all as one theme, gingerbread. Great Job!

I love, love, love your gingerbread kitchen. Everything looks so pretty. I don't think cracker barrel is closing. The one where I live stays really busy. I love going there. Good morning Rachel! The coffee/hot cocoa bar looks so pretty! The little candle ring You have in the tray under the Rae Dunn candle is so pretty! I love anything with berries, especially pip berries, but that ring is just unique! The tray turned out so pretty! Love the wreaths on the chairs.❤ I love how the shelves turned out, they're beautiful! And with the bar below it really looks like a big, beautiful gingerbread village! Oh the gingerbread kitty is precious!🐱 Don't think I've ever seen one like that before! I've heard Cracker Barrel will be closing some locations due to performance or sales.. pretty much why any business closes. But they're really not closing allot of stores.. as of right now. The mixing bowl looks so sweet!😊 Ohh goodness.. the village above the cabinets is really beautiful!!❤ I don't think the gingerbread theme will go out either, i think it'll stay around!😉 I think it all looks really beautiful Rachel! Hi sweet Daphne! I love hearing from you. Yes, my son was pretty sad about his kitty, and I was too. We have had a few kitties die on the road near our house. The mostly black or gray kitties seem to do the worst. I think the cars just don't see them. My phone has been acting weird like that too sometimes. Even my youtube sometimes freezes lately. Sometimes it helps to restart the phone and sometimes not. I think they want us upgrading every year but I can't afford that. Yes! Life can get so overwhelming, and the older I get, time seems faster and faster. My big sister just turned 50! Can you believe it?! That makes me feel so old. I'm 45- but 50 is right around the corner, and my body tells me. I wake up feeling like a creaky old person😜 And come spring, my stepdaughter is having a baby, so in a sense, I'll be a grandma. Hi Rachel! I have a question, when you use balloon lights do you use warm colored lights? I bought some but they were bright white and blinded me. Also, do they tend to go out quickly for you? Btw love the gingerbread :)
