I actually thought the opposite. The new 2024 batch I got from Ulta, not only has a darker color than my original, but it smells richer and more heavier than my 2022 bottle. I hate when companies reformulate, but in this case I think Armani actually improved an already good fragrance

You're not the only one to say that. There is an over reacting to reformulations sometimes and sometimes they don't have a choice when it comes to ifra regulations

The new one is different, but still a 10/10, less cinnamon, still smell some toffee, and heavier vanilla, and chestnut. It’s smoother, less fresh, and still super nice. It’s just a lil different. And I can see people liking the new one more, or the old one more

@@zLusso can you still smell cinnamon at all? i just tested SWYI at a sephora in california and i dont know whether it was the old batch or 2024. It had LOTS of cinnamon which makes me think it was the old batch and i instantly ordered it after i smelled it but now im worried im going to get the new batch with no cinnamon

I am a 65-year-old man, and though I have an open mind to fragrances, I am more inclined toward matured and, for lack of a word, “aged” manly fragrances. Therefore, out of the many connoisseurs I’ve listened to, I aligned more with your opinion. So, I appreciate your perspective. Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani have no creative control over their fragrances anymore. L'Oreal now owns this brand and any final decisions on how a fragrance is made, must now get final approval from them. For better or worse, in this case worse, the original version of Stronger With You Intensely is the best, in my own opinion. I find it to be a much more alluring and intoxicating, sweet and warm and cozy scent with the toffee note. It's what sets it apart from the rest of the line where most of them have the chestnut. As a side note, I have the OG Stronger With You, Freeze, Absolutely, Leather, Amber, Oud and the new Tobacco. They are all great scents in very different ways and for different occasions.

I just tried Candied Toadstool. Lol. Id say that is niche enough :) It was at 1 of these witch alchemist stores. The toad note was very pleasant (sexy musk? ). Im kidding! It has a fruity note.

The new juice is actually dark. But sweet accords are toned down largely. It is very fresh, minty, aromatic, fougere inclined. 😢

I owned stronger with you intensely back in February 2022 & even during 2022 I've heard rumours saying that it was reformulated but to me it's still rich nothing has changed. I'll not repurchase another bottle of this.. i'll switch up to absolutely. I hope L'Oréal don't f*ck with Absolutely's formula. L'Oréal destroys everything⛳

Is the new 2024 SWY intensely weaker projection wise? I apply 5 sprays (both shoulders, both sides of my neck and chest) and people around me (in my class) never smell it.

Same for me. The longetivity is about 3 hours, after that it's barely detectable, and projects very poorly as people can only smell it on me if they get really close to my neck. For comparison, I put my jpg paradise garden (regarded as a pretty weak fragrance) on my left wrist and the stronger with you on my right wrist and after a couple hours the swy was barely detectable and the jpg was standing strong
