It gorgeous & bang on the money. Guzzis aren't about quickshifters & max bhp. Like fine food & wine, they require a different appreciation.

Sold my 7 month old V7 as I couldn’t stand the character “shall I start or not this time”, dealer was crap and hadn’t got a clue. Nice bike no doubt but I’d traded a 20 year old Triumph to avoid reliability issues. Yes warranted but who wants to spend spare weekends in a dealership.

The V85TT and the new V100 platform has taken the motorcycle industry by storm.
@paulcooper5610
@paulcooper5610 8 ай бұрын
You are correct it does need twin clocks, spoked wheels and high rise clip ons to make it look better, it also needs the same bhp as the 85tt (80bhp) and then it would be a real contender. Failing that Moto Guzzi should just make a mk1 LeMans replica / resto mod, what ever we call them. One day they will do it, hopefully while us 60 plus group still want one.

My V7 Stone is my 20th motorcycle in over 50 years of riding and the most enjoyable. Superb in the twisties or the highway with a wonderfully comfortable seat ; with torque that is pure pleasure for effortless travel. The single plate clutch and air cooling are old school; but it's been carefully refined. I'm thrilled.

hey Guzzi... twin gauges are so much more appealing. At least why not give us an option? How difficult can it be to swap out the single cluster with the dual cluster like on the V7 Special???

Possibly because they all think can use the extra power? On the road, 70-80 mph on your V7 is the same as 70-80 mph on my Griso 1200 SE or an R1. And you wouldn't get me on track either!

I've owned numerous Guzzis over the past 40 years, oldest was a '73 Eldorado LAPD. I like this Corsa, looks great. If it had dual discs up front, and dual gauges like you mentioned, I'd be interested in getting one. But with several bikes already in the stable, I'll have to pass (for now!). If they made a Corsa in green with a red frame though...

It’s nice that Guzzi tried to hide the cheap looking pinch-weld under the fuel tank but, compared to “classics” of the past, why have pinch-welded tanks in the first place? To save a few dollars, not all manufacturers succumb to that mode of manufacturing fuel tanks. That aside, good on MG for making interesting smaller bikes - less cost, more fun!

Big fan of the channel but for the umpteenth time it’s a transversely mounted engine (I think you got it right in your last Guzzi video). And I think it’s a bit crazy suggesting that any 850cc bike needs a 6th gear to cruise comfortably at 70mph 🇬🇧

i own a v7 850 and i have done 60'000km on it since november 2021. I only know one guy who rode his as much as i did mine, which has been almost everywhere in Europe, including the north cape. Do not get yourself fooled, this bike is heavily overpriced. It is mediocre at everything, except for pricing, which is too high, especially maintenance with its pricey 10'000km services and most parts, even if replaced under warranty, taking 2-6months to arrive anywhere in europe ( i ve been to mandello 4 times now in 2 years). If You love the look and maintain it yourself, go for it, otherwise, this Italian has nothing on the japanese, not even performance.
