Need some explanation of the new controls, what they do. I read that it has self cancelling indicators but is it a feature that can be turned on and off or not, how is the cruse control activated, does it lock the throttle…

Yes it can be turned on or off, the 21-24 xadv has the self cancelling indicators

Cruise.like on any bike works same as any car.. its electronically controlled. So if yoh brake it cancels it or roll the throttle forward it cancels it. Easy to use. Does not lock the throttle. Have cruise on my S1000XR and MT10SP and trading my 2022 XDV for a new one as I want cruise on that as well
