Heyo, quick note for people installing mods on top of revamp. Hairs have a different name for transforming as part of revamp, if you use lazybones transformations they still use the old numbers. But Revamp uses titles, (Like BEA for beast) If your custom hair isn't working with transformations, that's probably why. (There's a readme in the installer that tells you their titles.) modded skills do seem to work, add them AFTER installing revamp and running it once (just to be safe) Outfit mods do work also, I would recommend sticking to outfits that add new items into the game, instead of altering ones that are already there. General modding know how for super saiyan hairs is that if you want your hair to change, you need to change each stage, lazybones uses numbers, revamp uses titles. For the most part, if using lazybones or changing revamps default transforms, you can just change the .emd file for the hair to change (Emd is the model, dyt.emb is the colour, emm is materials and .scd is physics (you should change the scd for longer hairs))

I'm not using any transformation mods and for some reason when i transform into ssj my hair is bronze coloured and doesn't spike up no idea what's causing it.

@@Loveable.Twinkiee install lazybones after revamp. If you use the transform abilities from lazybones you'll use the old hair numbers. If you use any of the normal transformations from base xeno/revamp, you'll use the new naming scheme hairs.

Thought i'd make a quick mention, for those dealing with crashes, make sure to read the note that comes in the zip file. You need the save editor to remove unused id's and then you have to validate flags. It should fix some crashes you are experiencing. This is from my pov that I had to do, so im passing on the torch. 🙏🏻🔥 Happy modding all!!!

@@CBShotti If nothing automatically imported, go to your patcher ini file settings and change the value from false to true for "unlock new chara" it should unlock all characters when you create a new cac or load into the game. you have to make sure you progress through the story of the main game and have some of the dlcs if you don't feel like messing with settings.

I'm happy they updated awoken skills! Potential Unleashed and Beast hair / eyes especially. PU didn't have that powerful aura and it always lacked that certain type of presence like Gohan's version always had while Beast's hair were always too long! I'm glad devs and people still keep this game alive by adding new content, but I never understand why devs couldn't put some of that time into updating hairs and forms like this...

I could be wrong about this, But I believe in your steam folder under. And in the steamapps folder you can find each games appmanifest file. And I believe if you set it to 'read-only' under properties, it should also prevent steam from updating it? At least that's what I had to do for modding fallout lol As steam kept trying to update it on launch.

I've had an issue where after installing revamp a lot of my mods aren't showing up, I've decided to uninstall revamp and all my mods then install revamp again then my mods in hopes that works! Also do you know if the new hairs are supported with lazy bones transformations?

@saiyankai7279 YES I recommend doing revamp first before any other mods. Some mods wprk and some don't. It'll be trial and error unfortunately to see what actually is compatible. I'd advise to not use too many tho in case of crashing and errors.

SLO, I have something genuinely messing with my brain here. I deleted, redownloaded, and verified my XV2 at least 8 times by now, deleted all my save data and tried to create new data, practically factory reset my entire pc. But every time I try downloading Xenoverse 2, I constantly get a screen that says "Some of the game data may be corrupted.", then it tells me to verify files and it still does NOTHING. Please tell me you've heard of this before and can help me, I've tried everything.

Okay so Idk if this'll help or not or if you already got an answer. This happened to me yesterday and today I FINALLY got mods up and running again. I uninstalled the game, verified my files,it kept saying the same thing your game was saying about the file corruption file stuff. Thought it was my save file so I deleted it. Tried again,same results, fortunately I had a backup save so I still have all my data. I found out it was the xinput.dll thing that was the issue. Once I deleted it,the game ran(the vanilla Base game); didn't find too many good answers online about this so I had to figure it out myself. So here's what I did today,I reinstalled Xenoverse 2, verified my files afterwards, made sure I did a clean installation of all my mods,then I re-extracted all of eternity's tools into my DBZ xv2 directory,and made sure the XVINS was putting mods in the correct directory, installed a test mod, and i actually got it working again. The corrupted file thing occurred after I tried uninstalling revamped mod I've noticed or maybe I did something wrong lol. Either way hoped I helped!

@kaleladbeel300 I assume you mean the extracted folder that had the installer? You can if you want, but if you wanna reinstall revamp in the future, you're gonna need to extract the winrar again. Any files installed in the DB Xenoverse 2 folder shouldn't be touched after installation or the game will have issues.

Hey guys, for anyone having some errors, I faced MANY, MANY trial and errors, and these 10 steps worked for me 1. Uninstall the game (sucks but you have to sometimes) 2. Make sure every single file in the folder is GONE. 3. Reinstall XV2, launch. Make sure it works. 4. Install Eternity’s Tools 4.3. Launch. Make sure it still works. 5. (COULD BE OPTIONAL, ITS JUST WHAT I DID!) Install a simple mod, in my case, it was a clothing mod. Launch, make sure it still works. 6. Open XV2INS and clear the installation. Launch, make sure it still works.(we do this a lot but its for a good reason) keep the installer open. 7. Extract Revamp 5.0.0 file to a folder, so it’s not just running in a winrar tab. Launch the installer. 8. For the installation I clicked skin tones, evening, and No (Revamp style). Let it run, it may take a bit long depending on your PC. 9. If you make it passed 75-89% it most likely works! Just let it run, it’ll tell you once it’s done. 10. Launch the game. If it worked correctly, you’ll know. Then test it out to make sure of no crashes in photo mode, and you should be good!

So i've come across a very unknown issue, for some reason installing the XV2_Patcher makes a error upon booting up which is the message saying some game data may be corrupted, however when i delete the folder the game works normally. Verifying the Cache does not work at all.

I would recommend having all the DLC because a lot of stuff on Revamp also affects the DLC characters. I'm not sure what happens if you are missing any of the DLC.

I don't have all the dlcs released, just the ones for the moves and super souls I want to use and revamp works just fine. Don't forget that you can use XV2INS to port any/all of the dlc characters you want. It might be tedious work, but that's one way to get them atleast without spending money.

I got a question tho, can I install other mods on top of revamp? like say for example ssj4

You can try, wouldn't recommend it though, last night I tried that and ended corrupting my files and had to re verify and go though a whole process again after uninstalling Revamped

For the XV2INS, I keep getting the error message Version 1.221 or greater of the game is required. You have version 1.212, which is confusing as I've fully updated the game

I got the revamp and tried adding a mod.The mod installed but everytime I tried to start a battle,my game crashed

When I install Revamp 5.0 the game doesnt start, it only starts if I delete XV2Patcher from de Xenoverse 2 folder but the mod doesnt load, so I need help

Question for anyone in here, I just installed two mods on top of revamp one being an all n 1 transformations pack (which is made around revamp) and a ssj4 for cac now the mod installer is telling me they are installed but I can't find them in my skill collections? I'm very confused

I get to the point where it says that they’re giving players a set of dragon balls to change appearance and then I just get an infinite white screen. Any idea how to fix this?

I tried running XV2INS but got the errors unknown DLC, failed on character "[]" and InitCharaList Failed what do I do?

Does anyone know how to do this through crossover on Mac? Got the game running dowloaded the revamp mod followed most of the steps but the patcher isn't working
