No, I don't think you can. All the other reviews I've seen with the manual doesn't have the button on the keyfob.

Volkswagen’s Android Auto and Apple Carplay are under the app-connect menu.

Yeah, even the base model has apple carplay. You do have to plug in your phone, even my fortieth.Anniversary from last year, which is only twenty seven thousand dollars had it
