Might be a dumb question but where the rims directional or did it not matter how they were mounted?

Wheel doesn’t matter but the hub matters cuz there are two different size bearings due to abs

Did you have to tilt your front fender? I heard it causes your paint to bubble if you don’t. Just curious because I’m adding the same set up on my Harley.

Yes I find out about that after install What I did. I drilled out mounting holes just a bit and tilted fender from the back upwards

One more thing, after you do this tire won’t touch fender but when tile picks up small rocks front the street they will scrape the fender... but it’s no biggie I did 10k miles like that. But finally installed spacers when I took my H-D off-roading Now fender sits 1/2” higher but rocks won’t touch it.

Im putting a 21" wheel on the front of my road king. I just got the wheels delivered yesterday, and now am in search of tires. Can you tell me what size and brand tire you put on? My research on specific tire sizes is coming up with many different opinions. lol

IT MIGHT BE BIT DIFFERENT THAN MINE 2011, I USED OEM BEARINGS AND NO SPACERS. AND FOR THE FENDER I HAD TO DRILL OUT MOUNTING HOLES IN THE FENDER AND MOVED IT UP JUST A BIT.

I got spacers from Amazon, now it doesn't rub but now my fender is too high and hits the bolt and crash bar if I go over a bump. have you had this problem? any idea how to fix?

Yes, you can drill out existing mounting holes in the fender just a bit and just push it up from the back and than tighten the bolts, I did manny miles like that with no isssue

The ride it’s perfect, don’t see much difference between stock. And yes I can still see over the windshield And bike looks better than ever with that from rim

No I didn’t, you can drill out mounting holes just a bit and tilt the fender upwards from the back and you will be good. Did over 10k miles like this and no problem

Yes I saw matching wheel but I’m not sure if I’ll get it I can’t barely see rear wheel so it doesn’t bother me.

yeah I forgot to mention that, its the best if you drill out mounting holes just a bit and tilt it upwards when installing. And that won't rub. But after few months I ordered spacers from amazon bezause tire was catching little rocks and they were scratching the fender.

This video it’s about new wheel, nothing about single disc. But I would never sacrifice braking power over looks. Dual disc looks good to me 🤔

Thats for the input. I saw some guys do rotor just on one side and nice chrome one... but on my bike It doesnt bother me that much so for now I think I’ll leave just like it is. Just dropped 1k on legends suspension 😵😵😵😵 Cheers 🤘🤘

Thanks for the video man. I’ve got a 2013 Electra Glide Classic. I was wanting to do this too. Question: did everything match up mechanically and work ok? Is this exactly what you have to do to install-no spacers needed? Also, did you keep the 16” stock rear the same or change that too?

Yes the rear its stock, its not really visible so I didn't bother to change it. On the front everything worked out perfectly I just moved bearings from original wheel to the new one and just had to drill out fender mounting holes so the tire won't rub. pretty easy. already did one 1000 miles on this setup and no problem whatsoever .
