The latest Range Rover Sport SV is the successor to the previous generation SVR - a tough act to follow and one of the most popular vehicles Urban have modified in their 10 year history. This week we visit our partner @absolutemotors in Rotterdam to check out the Sport SV belonging to CEO of Absolute, Patt. Si & Lenny from Urban get to experience the car first hand and also the guys start to discuss how it can be improved from a styling perspective.
Yes we know we said the P530 is a 5L supercharged when it is in fact a 4.4 twin turbo. Thanks to everyone that pointed out the slip of the tongue…force of habit when talking about SV product…😉

A cracking looking car quite aggressive for Landrover to be fair but those 23” wheels look well small on it though and being carbon fibre they wouldn’t last 10 minutes on our pothole ridden roads!! Looking forward to see what you chaps do to it 👌🏻 Another great episode 👍🏻

Good video, I agree this is priced way to high for it's market position. Should be in the loaded BMW X6 M Competition range. I have had the both models of the SVR and was hoping for a 2024 replacement but have decided to go with the V8 full size for the money. As you said, after first edition maybe they come out with a SVR (SV) replacement in the standard pricing range but that wont be for a while. Also agree on the style not being enough for this SV edition. My current SVR stands out but this not so much. Looking forward to seeing what your team does to help the look.

What a machine the Range Rover sport sv is , as a Range Rover velar owner, I wouldn’t have anything else but Range Rover , but £170 k is dopey money , and good luck insuring it . But what a motor 👍👍

Great video ❤, great car I owned the SVR which was a phenomenal car, but when the new version came out started too look dated and with time will only date even more, so now bought the p400 which is a great car but I miss the 5 litre V8! Seen the new SV TODAY BUT AT £189K!! It’s too much money! I only paid £115K for my new SVR! I think at £140 to 150K and I’ll buy one. Let’s see how the market pans out. And I think in 2025 they’ll start at £150K without options?!

This SV looks like rich ladies car to pick her kids from school and to do her shopping from Harrods 😂 but the old 5.0l supercharged carbon edition svr looked more sporty aggressive with a amazing exhaust sound .Svr interior with 2 screen and some buttons was much better design than this SV which has iPad glued on the dash.

So we pay £180k for a over price SV then we have to pay extra £5k on a exhaust and probably loose our warranty and insurance 🥹The SV has no lines. Land Rover made it Sleek posh with speed but did not make aggressive like the SVR. Urban got a lot of work on there hands am sure you guys can turn it round. The glued IPad stuck on the dash with one gearstick 😂 should be your starting point.

A friend of mine bought one. He said its a beast, but not sure its worth the £80k more than his other RR. He had it and drove it for 600 miles before its transmission broke. There isnt a transmission in the country and would take over a month to source. Hes got a full refund for it. Not a great start for a limited edition premium vehicle!

I wish Landrovers were more reliable. Every time I speak to someone who owns one. They say they love driving it and how it feels, but they never keep it due to it breaking down. Now with insurance up and people stealing them. Is it worth it?

Why would anyone consider buying a RR? They are almost impossible to insure. They get stolen...but even the car theives are avoiding nicking them because they breakdown as soon as they have nicked them!
