Making light work of another DD core. This time with your home made pick, absolutely brilliant. This is why you are one of the best as far as I can see Daz. Great video as always 😁👍🏻

Thanks Roy, I’m got to get some machine made parts to make some more, this one is just made with a drill & saw. The new ones will work a lot better. Have a great week Roy.

I love my 20/70 and I use it for my bicycle hard trunk. I chamfered and then buffed the 90 degree corners to make it easier to use. Now it doesn't feel like I'm grinding the cores into dust every time I use the key. I got the idea from comparing it to the kryptonite u lock key, which operates infinitely smoother.

Sweet Daz. Great pick and cool choice. Aye Iam just playing with my Abus disc locks now and your vid came up. I picked a couple of tips regarding the key cut. Front tension feels much better. Hopefully a open soon. Top notch mate👍

Jon’s Lock Picking Thanks mate, I’m really pleased this vid helped, these Abus DD locks can be quite tricky depending on what cut the top & bottom disc are. 👍

3 down and counting, nicely done. Those disc locks are so cool, and they are even cooler being DD locks Hey did you by chance have a video in your library, of what you did to make that homemade DD pick? Or know of a hood one, from another reliable guy? I could never afford sparrow, or the bullets and such, but I may have a chance at modifying the junk ones into a gem.
@dazevers4 жыл бұрын
Rook Knight Thank mate, the DD pick I made is really simple to make, I only use a Drill & a hack saw. I’ve been trying to find the time to make a video on how I made this DD pick but work just keeps getting in the way. Drop me an email & I will do everything I can to help you make one. d1everslocksport@ gmail.com Have a great week my friend.

Hi. I just bought a 20/70 , the old version (old pattern left) , how much is it different from the newer version? is it worse?
@dazevers3 жыл бұрын
They are both fantastic padlocks, i found the newer version padlocks easier to pick. But there really isn’t that many people that can pick them. You’ve brought a great padlock 😎👍

You are a very talented Picker, However I would love to see you try doing this in a Real type environment, Meaning actually Clasped to a Storage locker or even better hanging on a chain
@dazevers3 жыл бұрын
Thank you my friend, I’ve always been very conscious of not giving the wrong impression & keep this hobby very separate from real life situations. I will say that Any disc detainer lock that can be picked using a top tensioning method can be picked in any environment with the same degree of ease. Whereas if the lock requires tensioning from the bottom would be a whole different ball game. Im my last video i did pick the lock attached to a chain to simulate a more realistic scenario. 😎👍 Thanks for watching & commenting I really appreciate it. Have a great week. 👍
