I have the 70.3Hi ,I like the range on the light and the look of the throw that comes out of the 70.3.Both lights are amazing lights depending what are your uses for the light.

Wish they went with a smooth reflector for the HI version. I wonder why they didn't use the 70.3 domed version instead of 70.2

which long range manker mk38 sft 40 or acebeam x75 xhp 70 3 hi ?

SFT40 has aleays better long range possibilities, but X75 can long range too (only thing is that there is huge amount of light and it is strongly lighting the air in front of you, so it's hard to see what is far away)

IDK, but I prefer XHP70.3 HI

for practical use which is better 70.2 or 70.3 because i know 70.3 throws farther but idk if it would really be useful because it’s such a bright light

I think XHP70.2 is more universal here and produces a little bit less heat than HI version - it has also warmer color temperature in 6500K version than HI. The advantages for 70.HI are cleaner beam color (but colder) and less spill bounced back from the ground (but still a lot). Personally I've sold my XHP70.2 version, but I'm struggling if I made a good choice.

@@protechteus i have heard a lot of people say 70.3 is better, but i guess it really comes down to personal preference as it doesn’t seem like one is better than the other, as they both have different uses
