Cllr Izaac Tailford, cabinet member for waste, recycling & public realm, and Cheltenham Borough Council's Senior Ranger, Wayne Sedgwick, met with Eddie Llewellyn, Grazier at Wades Conservation Grazing, on Leckhampton Hill to visit the new calf and the rest of the Galloway herd. They discussed why the cattle are so important for managing grazing, as well as future plans for the herd and the successful use of no-fence collars.
We would also like to remind the public to keep distance from the calves and to also keep dogs on leads when in close proximity to the cattle. Mother's can be very protective of their young, so for your own safety, and the safety of the cows, please keep a respectable distance.
