Oh goodness, your homestead has gone from epic to epic and cute hahaha those lambs are adorable (so are the chicks) and it's wonderful to see how big of a space they have. They couldn't have gotten a better home!

Those baby chicks are so cute! The sheep are really cute, too. That’s a great plan to let the animals handle the lawn maintenance. Your puppy sure has grown!

Idk if youve ever seen mossy bottom channel. He does the same thing with animals, moves them to different areas, etc. He has kuni kuni pigs who dig and root. He moves them to different area and they prepare the soil for him. Rabbits too and chickens, etc. You might want to look at his channel if you havent seen it

Awesome addition!! Imagine the savings in lawnmower blade sharpening! We just got 2 lambs as well! We're in Northern WI also & running them with our egg chickens and geese. Just FYI, might save some fence moving! Love the channel, keep it up!!

Hi Evan, So very busy now! Fun to see how everything evolves at your place. Two hazards though: The fox can come into the hens and make a distaster, so can the birds of prey, the raptors; don´t be surprised if that happens... The hens can be protected bringing them under a netting roof during night; the fox slips in through small holes, that´s more difficult to manage, attention to details... The sheep; have you considered to keep them on a distance from your house? Thank´s for sharing your experiences, it´s really interesting to see how things evolve, and of course, you and your brother are really good at doing all the construction work, truly an asset!! At last: A new patch, the first layer of compost has to be substantially thicker compared to the one you put on sequential years, as maintenance. Video Charles Dowding knows it all, the King of No Dig, how to set up the new patches; kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6SsdnqmiLNmerM
