I guess I’ll be using the basic one, since I’ve got stuff that’s all over the place (20 Guardians, 10 Storm Guardians, 6 bikes, 10 Dire Avengers, 5 Dark Reapers, 5 Fire Dragons, 2 Farseers, 1 Warlock, 5 Harlequins, 1 Shadowseer, 2 Wraithlords, 2 Wave Serpents, and one demolished War Walker that I might be able to glue back together). But I might just inch my way towards either a Guardian Battlehost or an Aspect Host (especially since I would like an Avatar model).

Banshees are hitting on 2+ now in melee, don't they? In, say, Aspect Host and maybe led by an Autarch with Mantle of Wisdom that should be quite a consistent damage output.

@LoftOfTheUniverse hitting on 3+ or 2+ is the difference between 4 Banshees in Aspect Host having a 29% chance of killing at least 4 space marines and having a 48,6% chance. Whether that is significant is subjective, but I'd say it is.

@VanguardTactics thanks for the great work, but I have a question about the skyborn sanctuary strategem, you mentioned that unit must be fought in order to get back in the transport, but the rules as written - there are no restrictions like this, so I am wondering if it was FAQed day one.

Support weapons can be taken independently, they can join a guardian unit in the declare battle formations step. Doesn't say anywhere they have to be taken with guardians.

windriders reroll 1's or full rerolls vs closest. (add Shurican canons LETHAL and then Lhykis crit on 5+ ;) ) All Bikes + vipers in reserve.... If you just have a few place sitters and indirect on the board and 3/4 of your army comming on from reserve turn 1 and from behind in turn2..... Massive.

Ynnari got bent over. I was hoping to make a "Ynnari" unit, as people have done before which would have them include Yvraine or the Yncarne in a normal army with a different detachment, but from my understanding you can ONLY use those units in the Ynnari specific detachment now? Absolutely gutted. Why have a lore detachment that wishes to include all likes of Aeldari (Asuryari, Craftword, Quins, Drukari) but then remove units that can be added to the army. I really thought this update would have removed the point limit on Drukari units or even allowed at least one single Phoenix lord to be added. Nope. Yncarne gaining wounds on units destroyed and reducing her model cost is the only good thing I've seen for the Ynnari. Is she able to travel to engagement range of destroyed units again? I think that's how I understood her rule, which would be nice if she can clean up a unit and gain wounds. Otherwise, this detachment doesn't have appeal to have any actual Drukari units, imho. At least not how I play. I was hoping to create an army with the Avatar of Khaine and Yncarne, but it sounds like that is no longer possible either. Ugh.. only detachment that sounds appealing is the Guardians and Avengers getting the infiltrate key word.

@Vanguard Tactics The Skybourne Sanctuary stratagem does not require the unit to have fought according to the printed codex. So, this either must be a day 1 FAQ or you misread the rule

I will disagree with the farseer not being able to join a unit when a warlock conclave has already joined. According to some faulty GW plumbing. The farseer states “can joins a unit, even if a Warlocks unit has already been attached”, now the Conclave has the Warlocks keyword.

This model then counts as part of that Guardians unit for the rest of the battle and that units starting strength is increased accordingly This model, and any unit it is joined to cannot embark within a Transport Abilities: Support weapon: Each time an attack targets this model's unit, if that unit contains one or more other models, until that attack is resolved, this model has a Toughness characteristic of 3

"You can never use an agile maneuvre on the same unit in the same battle round, you also can't use the same agile maneuvre again on a different unit" where does the codex say this please? As i read it you can't use more than one agile maneuvre on the same unit in that phase (eg move phase). Also you can't use the same agile maneuvre more than once per phase (so, can't make 2 units immune to overwatch in move phase, but nothing to say you can't do one unit in move phase and one in charge phase?)

Sorry I miss read it first time recording, it is per phase not battle round. They are generated in the battle round.
