I actually had an unironic Agatha deck way WAY back when I was in the lower triple digit collection level. When I found out she always got boosters at the end of a game I used her as a consistent card to upgrade to get my CL up lol. It worked during that meta when the strongest new cards at the time were like Silver Surfer and Zabu lol. She forced you to either make a ramp deck to get her out early or build for tempo, which was kind of fun. Im unironically kind of interested in making a deck for her thats competitive.

I tired an Agatha High Evo deck because Shocker always discounts Agatha… when you draw him. I thought this would be good to give you control over turn 6. But, it didn’t work great. I then tried it to add in Wave as a back up and it still just wasn’t doing it lol. There is too much variation in locations and matchmaking that prevents these energy cheats I was going for. I’ll try discard instead

I put Hela, Thanos, and Arishem in the same deck...Talk about random chaos, but its fun. I do wish there was a way to let Agatha take over for all the turns still. I like just having her playing the game while I'm doing other stuff sometimes, especially if I hit infinite early on in the season.

WM will very likely be changed to read "LOCATIONS cannot prevent you from playing cards" which means card text will still prevent you. all the current decks will still be viable. Just not with Ebony Maw or Infinaut. although, that also means ProX will still prevent you from playing. over all I think WM would still be a very powerful card with thus change

If you're just trying to ramp out a big card, why not just use a better one than Agatha to begin with? Like if the deck is trying to "get rid" of Agatha, why even play her? Just replace her with Red Hulk or something?

Few reasons. First one being she thins your deck because she isn’t one of the card you draw like domino, you just start with her as an extra card. Next since you start with her you always know she is in your hand and consistency is great. Last one, she’s unique and fun which people sometimes look for.

Agatha sort of gives you an 11 card deck & it's also actually not that hard to get rid of. The biggest problem was consistency & this OTA makes it a lot more consistent to work.
