Great video, is there a reason why you have not left the lithium battery outside in the battery box/location where the AGM was?

Thanks for the comment! Due to the size of this particular battery you could not leave it outside without serious modification to the Battery boxes and it would require welding to the chassis etc. Also, Due to the costings of Lithium batteries having them inside is a more secure location.

when wiring in a inverter how do you stop battery system and fridge from running from the 240 supply when the inverter is activated , Is the fridge and battery management wired to a seperate supply prior to the inverter Thanks

Yes, Inverter 240v termination are required to be carried out be a licensed 240v electrician to meet the requirements. There are numerous RCD protections and a Transfer switches fitted by a Licensed electrician in this application.

I know this is a bit of a "how long is a piece of string" question, but with this size lithium battery, for how long could the owner expect to be able to run his A/C given a fully-charged battery?

5 - 8 hr run time depending on ambient temperature and A/C temperature settings. You will get a lesser run time if you a constantly on full fan at 18 degrees. Running it on low fan at around 22 degrees is going to be far more efficient. The Enerdrive 180w Solar panels we use have a VOC of 24.1v !

With the correct solar regulator yes you could run the 55v solar panels.

Hi JJ, if you are referring to the weight we aren't sure exactly sorry, but Lithium batteries can weigh up to 60% less than their AGM equivalent so there is usually a significant amount of weight saved when switching to lithium.
