Let me tell you, this is the bomb. My vehicle doesn't have "wireless" Android Car Play, but the system on this is far superior to what is offered in the vehicle, wired. Let me give you one example why it's better, my vehicle comes with XM Radio, but the app for this gives you access to more channels and extras that you can't get from the stock player that comes with vehicle. Setup my Netflix and even played with the IPTV Smarters app. Picture quality is good and now I can truly put my phone away and run everything I want through the AI Box Ultra.. Thanks for the review

My 2019 camaro didn't come with android auto wireless and since using the usb-c cord was nothing but a nightmare I've been using AA Wireless dongle for over 2years without any issues and just happen to come across your KZbin channel now I have to definitely look into this AI Ultra Box thanks.

Have you seen a way to change the homescreen or dashboard layout while using the native android system? I hate that 3 tile layout and would prefer apps screen.

For me the advantages have been access to apps Carplay doesn’t offer on its own. Connection is okay but you have to pick one or the other. Can’t have two CarPlays simultaneously

Wireless carplay. Yes audio delays exist with Video apps. That’s normal for bluetooth car tech

Your vehicle has to be equipped with wired CarPlay for it to work. Then it adds all of the extra functionality.

If you phone works with wired CarPlay, then yes. Check Carplay compatibility for all vehicles on Apple’s website.

Most newer vehicles have the USB ports shut down either immediately or after several minutes once the vehicle is off with the door closed and locked. Check your device after 15 minutes to see if the power was shut off.

For that you need the CarPlay AI BOX HE model. It has the HDMI output for the rear screens. There is a link to it in the video description if you want to learn more

Does this turn wired into wireless CarPlay? Does this add Netflix to CarPlay? Does this work with Porsche taycan?

It uses wired CarPlay to communicate with the factory infotainment system. From there it adds wireless Carplay as an option to connect your Iphone for the Carplay apps. This device essentially adds access to an Android OS with extra apps such as Netflix.
