This helped sooo much. I can’t stand the suction feel on my original pros so definitely gonna give the 4 a try. I’ve got over ear headphones for when I fly already so don’t mind losing a bit of noise cancellation for actual comfort.

I just got the AirPods 4 anc and I’ve never had the noice cancellation and so far it’s amazing. I didn’t want the AirPods 2 pro because of the silicone tips. I’ve never been a fan of them and I’m glad I got the AirPods 4

Looks like I made the right choice, as my Airpods 2 have been my absolute favourite for years! I didn't want the pros because silicone tips make my ears itch. Can't wait for mine to be delivered!

Had the AirPods 2 and those never fell off - running, going to the gym, dancing… Upgraded to the 3rd generation and the right one keeps falling (once in my almond drink, twice in water, while washing the dishes). I’m a bit worried about getting the 4 ANC…

I’ve had mine for a couple of weeks now and I absolutely love it! In terms of fit compared to the gen 2, I’d say it fits even better. I run with them almost every day, they’re solid. I have a habit of falling asleep with my AirPods in and the gen 2s used to fall out but these ones stay put even in deep, rolling around sleep. Bonus points for the noise cancellation feature, I didn’t expect it to be so good! I can finally drown out my husband and kids when I need me-time 😆😆

Thanks for this video. I really liked it for it's lack of "polish and glitz", but real-life application. Both my son and I are thinking of buying the airpods 4. For me it's an upgrade from the ap2, which I've used 2-4 hours a day for over three years. He is a Samsung phone user, but wants open-ear buds, and the Airpods are the best. Travel safely!

Great review guys. The fit is subjective in every person and for me, the xs tips of the airpods pro and the overall shape fits perfectly on my ears that i can wear it for hours without ear fatigue or pressure.

I've had my Sony wh-1000xm4 for years now and every time I took a flight I was wearing them. Now I also have the AirPods 4 NC, and I wonder if they would be ok to take a long flight (10h) were I should also sleep. Could someone tell me? I try to go as minimalist as possible for this trip, and if I bring the Sonys will only be for the flight. Thanks

I recommend checking out the "rainbow" adaptive mode for the airpods pro 2, the one that is in the middle of the transparency and noise cancelling. quite literally, it gives you the feel of having noise cancellation but for me personally is not as much pressurized as the full ANC mode.

Normally, I like silicone-tipped earphones, but AirPods Pro kept falling out of my ears and caused extreme discomfort after 10 minutes, so I sold them. I didn’t buy regular AirPods because they let in too much outside noise. Now that ANC has arrived, I’m wondering: 1. Would I be satisfied if I bought AirPods 4 with ANC? 2. If you’ve tried silicone cases for AirPods 4, how effective are they in improving isolation? 3. Does the non-ANC version of AirPods Pro offer a similar experience to the ANC version of AirPods 4? I just got the fours a couple days ago, I've only had the AirPod threes. I have giant blown out ear holes so I need to get the rubber tips that they sell for the threes and the fours, otherwise the pods will fall out. These tips give you more of a seal But they're not as aggressive as typical silicone tips. So far, I really like them. I was surprised at how good the noise canceling is. I'm blind so whenever I'm in a loud environment I can't really use my phone. Was at a gathering the other day and they had Alexa playing music and a couple of kids and then eight or nine of us and I was using my phone perfectly fine.

The silicone tips on the pro 2’s make me feel sick like you mentioned with the pressure part unfortunately, ordered a pair of airpods 4 hoping it will be a better fit for me and wont I have that feeling. Also they keep falling out after a couple minutes.
